I was looking around for a good tumble dryer and came across this. A++ heat pump dryer, with two year guarantee on parts and labour. Seems to have a great reputation (mostly abroad reviews), and is £400+ everywhere else. It says £329 on the website but 10% is added on checkout, with free delivery.

For the savings on energy, it would seem worth it over a cheap £200 option. Some great features also; antibacterial, shoe rack, drying sensor.

Hope some people enjoy it! Similar to the Beko deal someone posted, but potentially a bit better model.

I would have gone for this if I didn't go for the earlier Hoover John Lewis deal! Voted hot

Did they honour the deal in the end?

Well, no one has had any cancellations as yet. It's still at the 'order processing' stage so it could still be cancelled

Haier have some awful reviews if you read around enough
Here's one specific to this amazon.co.uk/Hai…E00

Chinese brand?

Looks a lot better than the Hoover, quite bargain basement looking. Only reason I am sticking with the Hoover is because JL aftersales.

The JL is a heat pump so much better than this condenser

I'm pretty sure this one is a condensing heat pump, so is the same as the hoover. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Heat pump

you won't find a standard condenser A rated.

I thought we did well last year with the Grundig under £400.

The number of heatpumps under £300 is giving people some choices with much shorter payback times..

Was looking for a good Haier dryer, thanks!!

It does not say what the capacity is & does not specify that is a heat pump. I am after a large capacity dryer. Not much good if they can't supply basic info on the specification.

Not sure if you are saying that towards the OP, or the Gas Superstore website, but the first line of the description on their website says the following:

The Haier HD80-A82 Condenser Heat Pump Dryer, finished in a brilliant … The Haier HD80-A82 Condenser Heat Pump Dryer, finished in a brilliant white, boasts a large 8kg load capacity for your drying needs.

the gas superstore page is a bit of a mess, but with any machine from anywhere you should cross reverence multiple places for price and specs along with the manufacturer for specs and manuals .

if a machine that gets picked up by price spy that can be a reasonable filter for some key features.

It's an 8kg machine and is heat pump. Was looking for a cheap heat pump dryer, so just ordered. Thanks for posting, and have some heat!

Anyone else with a heat pump drier think they're rubbish at drying clothes?

Seen quite a few reviews on several brands, so a good warranty is a must, avoid the 1yr warranty ones as just more hoops to jump through on how long should the machine last.
Don't see any manufacturer offering 5yr as a special on these heat pumps, suppose they are unsure themselves of their reliability and don't want to expose themselves just yet.

Grundig 5y as standard.
Ours does a great job drying, plenty of features to rival the more expensive models.

they used to be under £400.

their new Hybrid is super efficient(8kg A+++ 177kwh) with the option to do fast dry as well

Also worth going via TCB for The Gas Superstore, I tracked £10.21 when I made the order for this.

Good tip on the topcashback. Purchased last night.

ordered, was looking for condenser but worth little extra, Cheers!

Is this make any good or the tumble dryer. Never heard of it. Any proper reviews?

Has anyone else received a phone call to say they can no longer get stock of this tumble dryer (as it was put; ever!) and have been offered an alternative?
