would purchased if I had the space
I have been looking at this american fridge freezer for quite some time, and this is a good price. However the picture is not correct on the AO website, if you watch the video the fridge does not have a water dispenser... unless the video is incorrect?! Heat added btw

Its not clear on whether it has water/ice dispenser, first picture shows one but the rest do not.
Doesn't look like it - the first picture appears to be incorrect. This is what the same model looks like at Boots' website: bootskitchenappliances.com/pro…spx
Voted hot. Make sure it can come inside. I had to buy delivery and installation from Currys where the took off the doors and put them back again.

Amended the image - good spot
Really GREAT A+ fridge freezer and an absolute bargain at that price. I'm seriously tempted to buy another as a spare!

I specifically DIDN'T want a water dispenser as the last one we had made the metal housing around the exterior of the cup area rust away and you get fed up of continually trying to get rid of the limescale marks they leave behind too. Have a look here and you'll see what I mean:

Here's some videos of the actual Haier fridge freezer so you can see it in operation:

Delivery was very easy, straight in the back door which is standard size, no messing with taking doors off or anything. Just had to unbox it myself and then rip away the polystyrene base that it's housed on. I bought this Haier fridge freezer as a temporary replacement as it was a bargain at under £400 as my old Samsung that cost more than 3 times that price was totally crap in comparrisson to this one. Needless to say the Haier will be staying and if anyone has any questions I'll do my best to answer them

Which Scores it 2/5 for ease of use?. How much harder can it be to use than a 4/5.
How does this compare to LG Samsung etc at 2-3x the price? A lot of reviews say its loud?

Buy this, throw away if broken outside of warranty. Then buy another (most likely a newer model) and repeat.
If it’s at least considered to be an “American style” fridge freezer, it,at the very very least needs a water tipper,..and at most an ice dispenser and water dispenser..if not,...it s just a fridge freezer

It's silent in daily operation, it only ever makes a noise when you choose the 'Super Freeze' option that forces the freezer to cool very quickly. I only ever used this option after taking delivery of it to get it down to -18°
Don't be fooled by the price on this. My Samsung was over £1200 and the build quality on this Haier is far superior. I can't figure out how they can make such a good quality product for this price. It's the best bargain I've had in a long time
I bought one this time last year and another one just last month for my elderly mother as it was on offer at AO for £399. At £349 it's a steal and as I said previously I'm very tempted to get another one and keep it in the garage as a spare just in case there are any problems after the 2 year warranty. I seem to recall there was also an option to register online to get an extended 1 year warranty for free. Will check this out.
Has been cheaper at £329 recently

Hi,

Could you measure the actual depth of the unit (it says 66cm), my door is 73 cm wide so I have to be sure it goes in ( even if sideways).

Thanks!
Thought it's a PC at first.

Good price if the build quality is what people are mentioning .
Lot of comments about Samsung not being good quality , never had any issues with mine or relatives American style fridges with water and ice dispensers ,all been running 10-15 years + not a single problem.

Out of nine samsung products we had 2 laptops scrapped after 14 months, 3 mobiles scrapped due to firmware disasters. 2 TV's break down after 2 years 2 small tvs I have left 1 still works. I will not purchase Samsung ever again. They're products are meant to break down after a few years. We look after our products none have ever been dropped or anything ever dropped on them or abused them in any way. They are all crap!
So it has just 2 freezer units ? I'm surprised

I wholeheartedly agree. Samsung are great at offering discounts and selling their brand in store and online at a reduced cost. The reason why is that their after sales support is atrocious. I'd never spend a lot of money on a Samsung product ever again after having to throw away a 14 month old £1400 fridge Freezer due to the fact the front was rotting away due to the damage caused by the drinks dispenser. Samsung said the damage was only cosmetic and it did not affect the working operaion of the fridge freezer, therefore it was not covered by their warranty. There's thousands of people out there having problems with their Samsung fridge freezers going rusty, just check out there community forums and you'll see all the complaints quite clearly.
Looks like a great fridge freezer, i thought I’ve read somewhere of some reliability issues on the early versions of this fridge though ?? With everyone talking about Samsung fridge freezers, the ones 10 years back were garbage and had a design flaw with the frost free fan.

I forgot to say we bought a washing machine last november by Samsung. It's the worst, we had to have 2 engineers out to fix the damn thing moving about!. We live in a flat so the neighbour is reeling every time it's on! We only bought it because it was so quiet in my sisters home. Back to Bosch, should never have left them!
Is the freezer tiny? Doesn’t look very big

That doesn't mean that current quality is good though.. I'd be more interested in what people with Samsung products that are 2 years old are holding up.

Agreed but people have mentioned the old Samsung fridges having faults and being unreliable, new top end ones come with unnecessary features so I'd avoid them
Samsung washing machines in my recent experience (10 years+-) have also been unreliable and replaced in home and rental properties.
For quality white goods nowadays I'd go for Miele, Bosch or Siemens personally.

It holds 177 litres, works out fine for my family of 5
Anyone who has this know the depth it excluding the doors?
