Just been in my local boots to get some of the reduced dyes and they had these straightening kits reduced to £3.45! They are also part of the 3 for 2 so I picked up one of these, a dye for a pound and some John Freda Intensive conditioner which was also reduced to £1 but still part of the deal!!

Bargain Indeed...

Ps The deal is instore only, it is still £14.99 online.

We used to do permanent straightening when I worked in a hair salon. It was pretty strong stuff - you had to handle the hair very carefully when the chemicals were in otherwise the hair would break off! I'm not convinced that something you can buy in Boots would have the same effect but maybe it's worth a go..

alala86...perminantly straighening the hair...do you remember what salon this was by any chance??

Def a bargain, but i'm not brave enough to do any of these things myself - used a home dye kit once when i was 17 and my hair went a lovely shade of yellow - stuck to the hairdressers ever since!

I used this when it was first on sale at Boots about 2 years ago, it made my long hair snap all over and I had to get most of it cut off afterwards. I would not recommend it!

wouldnt recommend this at all! my hair was so badly damaged I had to have lots cut off and it took ages to get back in good condition

not reduced in huddersfield still £14.99 and not on 3 for 2

did not work at all waste of money

My profesional advice as a Hairdresser is PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS..... straightening Hair is something best left to a Hairdresser as it's a long process and when we do it in the salon it can take up to 4 hours and can easily damage the hair if its applied wrong or left on too long, hair can easily break or become weak and it is not suitable for all hair type's and a profesional salon will always test the hair 1st!

Please if your thinking about doing this get it done professionaly in a decent recomended salon

I wouldnt buy this - I used this about 1-2 years ago and it completely dryed my hair out. I have only just managed to get my hair into its normal condition again.

I agree as well. Used a permanent hair straightening lotion in April this year and my hair is still breaking off even after having it cut once a month since. Stay well clear of this!

It was the Richard Ward salon in Sloane Square (London). It's quite pricey and not good for your hair...it would probably be better to have your hair cut into a style that makes your curls/waves look good.
