Great Deal thanks!

Great but cannot understand why Halaal is sooo overpriced in the first place?
Even though they/re often much cheaper and you get many great deals you rarely see many non Halaal butchers

beef burgers good

prices always go upduring ramadan and any muslim festival.

Yeah but they never seem to come down even though meat is quite cheaper now

might want to put 2 for £1.00 in the title

I buy Halal meat but before you all rush out to buy what appears a good deal. Have a read of this mirror.co.uk/new…779

It's an absolute disgrace, and this happens in 9/10 "halal" slaughterhouses. My family came away from the industry, my toddler could handle it more efficiently. Disgusting.

Don't take their word coz the packaging says halal.aldi was selling pork sausages about 12 months ago with a halal logo on the box.

wow really?... that's so wrong!

the beef and lamb sausages (the only ones I tried) are virtually inedible tried cooking them several ways but nothing helped.

Not quite correct. It was Black Pudding Pakoras. Had traces of pig blood and skin in them. Incorrectly labelled, but still tasty.

From what people are pointing out is unless a animal has been slaughtered according to islamic rites. The meat is not halal until you have witnessed it yourself or have slaughtered the meat yourself ? which would mean that none of the halal meat available on the market is halal unless the buyer or consumer has actually witnessed it being slaughtered according to islamic rites ?
