This hotel puts you in easy reach of PortAventura, as well as the shops, bars and restaurants of Salou. Location-wise, this place is 15 minutes’ walk from PortAventura theme park, and slightly more to the beach, as well as Salou’s shops, bars and restaurants. Plus, outside the hotel there’s a stop for the buses.
There’s a main pool and a small pool for very young guests next to it. The restaurant mixes Spanish favourites with things like pizza. And in the evenings, parrot shows and tribute shows top the entertainment list.

Pools There are two pools, with the smaller one reserved for children. The main pool is a sea of palm trees and greenery, lending a tropical vibe to it. A poolside bar takes care of drinks and snacks like pizza. The pool hosts activities, and blow-up slides are often added for children. Very young guests have their own paddling area – it’s right by the main pool so you can keep an eye on them.

Food & Drink
The buffet restaurant has outside seating. At breakfast, there’s cava to drink and a mix of Continental and cooked dishes – the freshly-made pancakes and omelettes are particularly popular. In the evenings, show cooking and themed nights keep things interesting. There’s Italian and Spanish, as well as a seafood evening that showcases lobster and paella.

Entertainment
On the entertainment front, each night brings something different – tribute acts, parrot shows, acrobats and comedians. And there’s a children’s show as well, with clowns and a minidisco. There’s a spacious bar area for when you just want to relax with a cocktail. And there are lots more bars less than quarter-of-an-hour away in Salou.

Sports & Activities
Small guests get their own play area, while older children have a games room with a pool table and air hockey, and there’s a basketball court, too.
During the day, you can join in with lots of pool-based activities, such as aqua aerobics and water polo.

Health & Beauty
The hotel has a gym, as well as in indoor pool. There’s also a sauna, Jacuzzi® and Turkish bath for a bit of pampering.

Facility Summary
The pool is great for swimming as well as activities, and there’s a paddling pool tagged on at the end. When it’s time to eat, the buffet restaurant has regular themed evenings and extra touches for children, like a candyfloss machine. Little ones also love the basketball court and play area, and later on, there’s a mini-disco as well as family-friendly shows like flamenco.

We went there for 11 days last September. Loved the hotel. Best food I’ve had for years. About 12 to 15 mins walk to beach, all flat.
Lots of bars and clubs, shops around. Coaches or public transport to Barcelona nearby.
We loved Salou, a bit built up but an easy beach holiday. The airport is only around 30 mins to the hotel.
We paid around £1400 for 11 days from Stansted, via Jet2.
Several large theme parks nearby, with one visible from the front of the hotel.
    I’d go myself but working.
