Can't get it where I am but I'm sure they are one of the best UK internet companies

100mb up and down that is a deal, but being talk talk. I don't have my doubts!

1GB up/down or its not worth it.

Flea

currently with verminmotherfookers 152mb down and 12mb up

Note that you can only get hyperoptic if they have deployed their equipment in your building. Typically they will only deploy to large buildings such as flats, and only if the landlord shows sufficient interest. Speeds are great but sometimes can slow down during peak times because of oversubscription.

That's too expensive at £46 (including line rental) for me but is in general available as well

If you think £46 for 1GB down/up you don't realise the usual cost of this... I am on 152m/bit with Virgin, costs me about £60 a month will all phonecalls, 24/7 and mobile. I would love to have 1GB though... **drool**

Ask tier 1 providers about a 1GB leased line and then see if £46 is alot./laugh

This is a quote for 1GB up/down I just did.
Monthly Price: £1,460.73
Install: £0.00
Contract Term: 3 years
Reference No. 150709-2257-67687

The main issue we have these days, is the home connections are getting quicker than the sites your connecting to, the bottle neck soon will be the backbone, not the FTTP link. Just think about the hell this would play with GCHQ if everyone had gigabit connections, they would need to upgrade their server farms to cope!

I can't get Virgin where I live... also for the price you are paying I would rather choose to get 1GB up and down

Ok sure you will always find someone trying to sell it more expensive but I wouldn't buy 1Gb from BT either
I will rather spend my money on a TV streaming service than on faster broadband. 100Mb is simply enough for me...

Sounds kinda too good to be true... I guess you should use an anonymizer then...8)

Hot if you can get it but I'm guessing it'll be like other companies that never go any where near national and stick to major cities.

It is not TalkTalk.

I'm on Hyperoptic's 100Mb broadband-only service (no line rental, £17 per month) - they've been absolutely superb. Connection is stable, get around 98Mb down AND up.

The new conditions for 100 Mb are £30 a month (first 12 months, £35 a month afterwards plus £40 connection fee once).
How come you are only paying £17?

I am on 3.5mbit ADSL and it's odd as I can stream 1080p on that no problems.
