Found 2nd Jan
Thought this may help someone looking at getting discounted breakdown with a major provider. For example, I got national recovery and home start for two people for £79.50/year. Start date can be anywhere up to 60 days from when you submit.

T&Cs: This offer valid from 01/01/18 - 14/01/18. This discount is based on online prices as of 15/12/17. Discount only applies when products are purchased online via the link featured on the Priority platform. Customers must pay by a continuous payment method on either a monthly or annual basis. Discount not available in conjunction with any other offer and is not available on any other AA products or services. Offer not available to existing AA members. Offer cannot be used in a breakdown situation.

Excellent. Good on a monthly fee for my old runaround while I wait for the new car to arrive.
Im not an o2 customer but can someone confirm with the discount how much this would be?

50% off the normal price on their website..
Autoaid is cheaper and wins MSE poll every year. £43 for 15 months and covers you personally and your spouse.
Not quite half price. Basic cover is £39 on AA website and £29 via O2.

I never ever bought AA OR RAC covers.I however had STARTRESCUE cover, but I must say AA AND RAC are professional people as they try to fix your car at the breakdown location. Cheaper companies always tow you to the nearest garage and you have to pay for even minor issues which AA AND RAC would do it in their price.

Have a look through the MSE review thread for autoaid. Always get good reviews. Average response time is 40mins as well so not too shabby in that regard either.

In a sense paying the premium for AA etc is fine if it offers peace of mind as well as a service.
Another vote for autoaid.
Agree with Autoaid, cover for you and spouse in ANY car you happen to be travelling in. Will tow you to the garage of your choosing i.e. your preferred garage close to home.
Heat added great find thanks op. Got top cover out for £50 national relay as well. Cannot beat AA cover.
Woman phoning!! .......its gotta be shes needing her windscreen scraped surely
Thank you for posting this! great find HOT!
Start Rescue all the way
Vehicle cover only came in at £19.50. Or £2 per month. Opted for £2 per month DD as it handy to have when switching banks
Ok - so half price isn’t a bad deal but I’m typing this literally while I’m in my 5th hour of waiting for the AA to come and sort my car out. They’re slow and cost-cutting these days and tbh I’m livid with them - they don’t stock all the parts needed (I’m only talking a fitting tyre) and they keep sending third party auto repair vehicles who aren’t the same class as normal AA. Yeah, I’m bitter, but be warned.
A great response for AA last week when I was stuck in remote countryside. Got great and prompt service and communications. Excellent professional service. Felt a little humbled by my feeling about the fees. With the AA, it's about looking for deals like this and benefiting from their discounts on things like car hire.
+1 for autoAid, but a good deal.
