Half price dental is a whole nother thing. Corsodyl Daily toothpaste isn't usually included in dental deals as it's the best paste on the market. Don't shoot the messenger.

Well, let me tell you about my experience of Cordosyl. Whilst my teeth have been pretty good, after increasingly costly trips to the dentist I decided on a proactive strategy to increase my dental health. So I bought Cordosyl toothpaste and mouthwash. Never have I had such squeaky clean teeth, and a very sensitive and often painful molar has quietened down. But 5 weeks in I have black teeth! Well not black but they have noticeably darkened. Since then other people have said that they have had the same problem. I don't know if it is the mouthwash or the toothpaste but I am only using either once a week now. I would like to hear other people's experiences.

I prefere Oral B with mouthwash. Amazing!

Prolonged usage of the full strength mouthwash will cause staining, the tooth paste doesn't cause staining with prolonged use, if you use the daily versions of both you shouldn't suffer the staining issue.

My dentist told me to only use the toothpaste and mouthwash on a night to prevent the staining. Apparently, if you use it on a morning, then drink coffee or tea, it makes the staining worse. He also said that the daily version is not the same thing at all and not to use it.

I recently saw a different dentist, who was horrified when he saw the colour of my teeth and recommended Corsodyl Gel. This doesn't stain at all, but it is not toothpaste, it is to be used at least 5 mins after brushing your teeth. I use it with the TePe interdental brushes and my teeth have been fine since I stopped using the paste and mouthwash. It is £2.19 for a 50g tube at Boots, but it lasts ages. It also taste much nicer...I thought the paste tasted like something you should clean the toilet with

Good price, heat added.

Thanks for the replies folks, I should have read the instructions properly I've gone back to using the paste daily and just using the mouthwash now and again, last thing at night, and the staining is fading. Cheers all!
