I have been eyeing up some flights all week from Birmingham to Dublin and I thought they were cheap at £10 each way.

But today they are £5 each way! I just got return flights from Dublin for £10!

I paid with an Electron card to get round the handling fee.

Can you explain why?.....never used them myself.

Ryanair are awesome gone to about 15 places in europe now for a total cost of 30p acutally i lost my paper work once and had to pay £4 to check in but that was my own silly fault. if i hear one more person saying they wont fly with these i will scream lol. on the flights about 4 have ran late but the most been 30mins and other just 10-15mins some have set of early and got there early. they are a bit cheecky because when booking says take 2hrs for example but only takes about 1hr 40mins they do this so they can get a higher rating of ontime landings i thinks its about %98 ontime landings. With very few cancalled i cant see why traveling with ryanair is bad the seats aint cramped and they leave you alone on the plane.

Hope some people take advantage of travelling round europe for VERY cheap i would advise it has been the best time of my life. Just booked cheap places to stay not ideal for everyone but the most ive paid for 2 nights is £31.

You do need a visa electron to get them for £5 each way atm but if not there £10 i think still a bargain.

Hope you have fun

HOT, got a Luton Murcia flight for my mum - think with 1 bag and taxes etc was about £14 one way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't voted but tried for 6 flights to Shannon from manchester. Came up £5 return. want a bag? ££, paying by debit card ££ ends up £90 return. Dont know how they get away with the false advertising.

Here we go again....why is it false advertising???
You CAN get a flight for that price...you just have to play the game as has been mentioned an infinite number of times on here already. If you don't wanna play you have to pay....simple !

I've just come back from a 3 day break to Malaga and for the 3 of us we paid £30 total for both ways.

3x £5 there
3x £5 back

Hand luggage only, Online check in + Electron payment = cheap deals!!!

Also it was the first time we had flown Ryanair and we thought they were great and would definately fly with them again - my wife is looking at Germany and Ireland already!

Hear Hear!

We've never flown with them before & this year we've been to Paris, £10 each all in, Dublin, £10 each all in.

Fantastic price heat added. Love ryanair, use them a lot.

Can you get a friend with an electron card to book your tickets to get the £5 deal

nothing wrong with ryanair good deal

Can you get a friend with an electron card to book your tickets to get the £5 deal

anyone?

We booked flights - East mids to Berlin last night.

Flights were £10 each return but we did have to pay a large card charge for Visa debit as we don;t have Electron - still happy though, £39 for 2 x returns

Hot!

Hot deal but this is typical of Ryanair that they offer the cheap flights when the people that use them most (students) cannot take them due to having classes at university.

just a question....how do u check in on the way back? do u check in online before you go??? im going to dublin on the 3rd feb so need to know lol

you can check in online up to 14 days of your flight. So if your return is within this time, then you can check in the return leg before you leave home.

I think Ryanair are great tbh - Been to Sardinia loads with them, and flew to Dublin early on this month for just 2p return! (Well 4p for 2)
They took off on time, landed early and ended up it was only like 20 mins back to Manchester. I've always had great flights with them, and the sole reason i applied for an electron account on the side specifically for booking flights.

I shall certainly be taking advantage of random flights and stays around europe with them, despite their 'chopsticks' jingle music lol.

So thanks OP, H&R added.

xx

Well said! I don't get why people continue to post to complain about ryanair? The way to get the flights cheap is well known, it's just a matter of being able to travel light is the only problem!

if youre going to book, and dont have an electron card, you should either buy the gift voucher first and use it to pay for the flight, or get a travel card from the post office, pay as you go type deelie, which are electron and work fine when booking on the website and save you the extortionate 7 quid fee.

Booked flightsto Majorca £10 return - fabulous price but was doubled with handling fees of £9.50 per passsenger. Can't complain though - fantastic deal! You're allowed 10kg of cabin baggage in the price too and if you check-in on line there's no nasty add-ons. Happy flying!!!!;-)

If your going to dublin, take some cash with you, i went in december with a ryanair promo 2p return  but then paid £6 a pint everywhere :w00t:

Entropay.com is the way to go, virtual Electron card, Instant online set up, £10 minimum deposit +50p fee (4.95%). The Entropay site shows a Visa Debit card but it is accepted as an Electron card by Ryanair, therby avoiding £5 each way card fees.

anyone recommend a european city to visit .. nice cheap one... and hot this time of year... blighty is too cold theses days..
