I have always found that sainsburys meat is better quality then asda would rather spend the extra 49p and get nectar points too

I love this offer. The joints easily do 2 roasts, and the meat is great. Shame they had sold out yesterday, but ho hum.

got 3 joints today, cut in half , bagged and in the freezer

i too find the meat better than Asda, its Irish beef btw well the ones i got were

The large joint at Asda is British, the one at Sainsburys is Irish therefore it cant be from the same Slaughterhouse, it may be from the same supplier, it also depends on how its been matured.

Im only going on the previous joints ive had from Asda, they have not been a patch on the Sainsburys ones.

Sorry but I never buy meat from Sainsburys, always tastes tough.
If you've got a Makro near you, its worth going there for meat, again that's if you have a card or can borrow one.:santa:
