Mission are a brilliant brand of speakers much better than Bose Just bought a set of these they Sound Amazing! I use it for music but I'm sure they'd be great for gaming too, they do some Bluetooth versions for an extra £50 but I prefer wiring them up myself so went for these. The wireless version would be handy if you want to use your Phone/iPad with them. Grab em while they're cheap!

Without a sub I think the sound would be a bit thin.

I'd rather spend a ton on this which I think is better value

for £99 might aswell get some full size Mission speaker pair? no?
or maybe get some Samson or m-Audio near-field professional monitor speakers or simular for about the same sort of price and with a good bass response as well.

I'm sure the full range missions would sound great too, if you have an amplifier prob not a bad shout, it would be much more bulky though.

Definitely Don't sound thin! I love them hard to say something is better if you haven't listened to it? I'm sure both are good! Sub sat systems often don't provide a full sound missing a lot of mid freq especially when using tweeters and a sub. The Missions work well because they have full range drivers perfect for music and are very neat heavy & well built £99 was a bargain.

I was'nt impressed with the soundsticks - I thought it was more form over function, for the price, plus a hole in the mid-range sound (I would guess about 200-400Hz) and size there are other options like those studio monitors I mentioned.
