Amazon has price matched the 7.5m Superhose only
3381708.jpg
3381708.jpgThe Hozelock Superhoze is a great option for small gardens. It's light weight and will never kink or tangle. It extends to a length of up to 7.5m, an ideal length for watering hanging baskets or cleaning the car. It comes with adaptors to fit any outdoor tap. And, when you're done using it, it'll reduce in size for easy storage.

As this is an expanding hose, it will expand to the full length when connected to the water supply. Out of the box, the hose will be significantly shorter until connected to the garden tap.

Expanding hoses are not suitable for garden taps with low pressure such as kitchen mixer taps, nor can they be connected to water butts. They work well with garden taps as these are normally of a high pressure.

As the hose needs to expand, expandable hoses are not suitable to be stored on hose reels. They are also not suitable to be used with pressure washers. If you wish to use a pressure washer, store this on a reel or connect to a kitchen sink mixer tap, please use a traditional garden hose.

  • 7.5m length, 12.5mm diameter hose.
Accessories included:

  • 1 hose end connector.
  • 1 universal connector.
  • Threaded tap connector.
  • Adjustable spray nozzle.
  • Outdoor tap connector.
  • Hose nozzle.
General information:

  • Size H14.2, W19.8, D20cm.
  • Weight 0.65kg.
  • Manufacturer's 5 year guarantee .
  • EAN: 5010646061537.

These things don't last. Whatever the brand they start to leak. Make sure you keep the receipt in a waterproof place...
Pointless unless you have the patience to keep exchanging them as they start to leak from the seams. Good idea but they need to go back to the drawing board and fix this issue.
Got any O's?
Would have bought one but can't be used with pressure washers, still a good deal for other uses tho

Thanks for posting. Great price. Reserved one to pick up tomorrow. Hot.
Voted hot, put the 7.5m in my basket and before checking out decided to check amazon too. They have this for £10 as well. For some unknown reason £4.48 promotion applied waiving the postage, so got it for £9.98. Thanks!

Yep, mine worked to. Three times. And after that went in the bin. Use a normal hose, this will not last long with the pressure washer.

Cheers, Amazon saves me going out for this
Just got one thanks. Used the groupon £10 argos gift card for £5 (account specific check emails) so only cost me a fiver.
Need the 15m but seems to be out of stock in most places. Not sure it’s worth a trip to get

You're welcome. I am a bit confused with the promotion, debating if the postage was waived because I had some credit or because this is how the deal was. Did you have a promotion for about £4.80? Are you a prime member? Thanks!

Why would postage be "waived" because you had some credit?

Do you mean your credit was used to pay the postage. Which would mean you have still paid for the postage.

This is what I am trying to figure out. As far as I remember, I did not have any credit. I am almost sure about this but cannot be 100% sure.

The order was listed as 'FREE Delivery on your first eligible order to UK or Ireland'. I do not know what is this 'first eligible order'. I also do not have Prime. So, at checkout it came as £10+£4.79 postage, but a £4.99 promotion was applied, taking the order down to just under £10. I am trying to figure out if this was a 'one off promotion' or if I had some credit (which means I've paid for the postage with my credit, making this more expensive than Argos).
I've simulated a 2nd order to see if another promotion will apply and it didnt. It may be because of 'first eligible order' or because I had credit. I wanted to know if anybody else, who does not have Prime, had the postage fee waived by a promotion.
I seemed to have only paid £5.22

I have Prime, so was just £10 for me.

Would have ordered at £5.22 but I'm being charged £10 so will stick with the 15m for £16 from Argos.

Unless you know how the £4.78 "Promotion applied" deduction can be obtained

Omg these are a terrible idea. Looks good on paper. Sprinkler was a no go. Sprang leaks after about a year. Won't bother again.jmo
These things leak ? Your not joking I ran one from the kitchen of a terraced house to wash the car, it sprung about 15 tiny leaks all at once , good job I'd bought a George numatic vacuum / extractor too I had to suck all the water up out of two huge carpeted areas, the beautiful girlfriend wasn't impressed either

Shame
3 year warranty minimum?
Would never have one again. Leaked. Not worth the effort
As someone who works in a busy DIY store I would not buy one of these they all fail and get bought back..
Beware

hot, lol i click on amazon link and i saw a box of butter, lol i thought it crashed, but it was a box for the hose
Brilliant idea but they never last. May as well just invest in a proper one and store on the wall
My experience with this isn't good either. They keep springing a leak. I've cut them down with a fresh end and it still happens. It you want a hose that packs away small I can recommend the Yoyo hoses made by Fitt. They do what these ones do but actually last, they are a different style of construction. My Yoyo hose works fine with a 1400w Nilfisk pressure washer. My old ones like these couldn't handle a garden tap!

Been using mine with pressure washer on the car at least once a month for 3 years no issues. Why would you bin it rather than just return it?

Because it states not suitable for using with pressure washers. Didn't want to lie...
Bought an expandable hose for a friend who found a normal hose too heavy. Too low water pressure meant it just looked like a shriveled up snake in use so it went back. I bought another longer version for myself (water pressure okay) but after a week or so it started to leak so sent it back. Sticking with conventional hoses now.
Be careful not to drag any extendable hose across the floor as it WILL snag and eventually tear. It’s thin material after all, not thick rubber.

How soon do they start to leak? I've had mine for 2 years and so far so good. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
These are brilliant. But just tried to purchase to be told it cannot be delivered to my address and there are none in stock in the Sainsbury's that had now taken over the big Argos store in our town. Tried to buy blinds and same thing. Useless. What's so difficult in posting items out??? Very disappointed.
