Half Price Imagin 6.5" Digital Photo Frame - £39.99 @ Boots

Looks a not bad price for a 6.5" digital photo frame

A great new way to display digital pictures - no PC required! This stylish frame has a slot for most memory cards and display slide shows at the touch of a button. Don't get bored of looking at the same picture, rotate them in a slideshow.

It depends on what the res is. The site doesn't say, and I certainly wouldn't buy it blind.
yeah , had a look about , think the £79 original price is a bit optimistic.
oh well.

... think the £79 original price is a bit optimistic ...

It looks as though Boots regularly put up a product with a ridiculous selling price, just to make the saving look great. I noticed they have the Nikon D40x (with 18-55 lens) up on their site for £599.99 whereas the typical selling price (before cashback) at most retailers is £399 (many are selling the D40x for around £375).
I'm now keeping an eye on the Boots site, hoping they'll start offering the D40x for "half price", ie, £300. But, I won't be holding my breath.
Hmm, I wouldn't have paid £80 for this, maybe £49. Stone cold

Am i missing something? Is the selling price £39.99????
I've ordered a few of these - two for Christmas presents and one for me. Got to say for £39.99 it's great value for money. Here's some more info:

Panel Size: 6.5 inch
Aspect Ratio: 3:2
Resolution: 480x234
Memory Cards Supported: SD,SDHC,CF(i/II). (MS Pro/Pro Duo supported with adapter - not included in box)
File Type Supported: JPEG,JPG
Wall mount or free standing using adjustable stand
AC Power only

Took my SD card out of my camera and put it straight in and the pictures came up looking great - no having to change the size as it's not a widescreen frame.

Things you can change:

Random or single image
Transaction time between images (1,3,5 or 10 secs)
Transaction type between images
Brightness etc. of LCD screen

Good value for £39.99 - would certainly not have looked at it for £80.

Voted hot + rep given - thanks OP
Can you buy frames where the photo changes but not so frequently as the max 10 secs that this model has? eg minute or longer perhaps?

Also, am not very enthusiastic about wires - do the wireless ones work well?

Many thanks
Ordered mine middle of last week and it arrived today. I must say it is absolutely brilliant!

The picture quality is really really good, its actually better than some of the more expensive Digital Photo Frames I have seen.

Thanks OP!
