Have been seeing them advertise this on twitter for a while. It went from being "the hilarious Jack Whitehall" to just "Jack Whitehall" which is far more accurate.

You want me to watch a video featuring jack whitehall and james F*(!&$G corden?

I would rather drink a pint of my own diarrhoea.
Over rated Sky luvvie.
Going to one of the major public schools and having a father who was a producer and agent to the stars didn't stop his battle against the odds to have a show biz career.

This show went on offer at Glasgow not long ago too. How do people hear about it? I have family in Glasgow but it was midweek and short notice so couldn't go. I'd be interested if it was a little closer to home.

Is amazing how far you can go when both your parents are really well connected in showbiz isn't it?

I'm so grateful to both my parents... Robert De Niro and Beyoncé.
I think his dad is funnier, actually!
listen - motorpoint is a big big venue.... There is no point at all seeing comedy in these kind of places.

We saw Whitehall at the Sheffield arena no so long back and we were about 12 rows from the front of stage... but even that felt far away.

Standup is about bonding with the audience... these venues are designed for noise like music and car engines.... do yourself a favor and avoid.

I agree with your point, and comedians and theatre shows should be immersive, but they usually have big screens for comedians so you can still see their facial expressions etc

The best job I ever had was working the security for Jongleurs in Leeds.... Fri and Sats were filled with punters waiting for the next wanna be comedian to ome on stage - I used to go into work early just to watch the comedy... and a lot of the TV stars we see today performed there.... That was personal and immersive with low ceilings and lots of booze... The arenas, screens or not never deliver an atmosphere, the booze is crap and expensive, watching tv screens for comedy doesnt cut it.

Ive been up and down the country watching MMA and boxing at the arenas too, and even that is pushing it.

We recently saw Tom walker at the o2 in sheffield,, mere metres from the stage everyone is merry and the tickets were £25 quid, that felt personal....

But screens or not I would avoid comedy in big arenas.

So what. Whether it was Amsterdam or Dagenham who cares. Extremely pathetic to stop watching a comedian because he tried a bit of weed. If you don't think famous people do drugs you should reevaluate your life

Dont really care if he tried weed. You're missing the point.

Take a deep breathe mate. That person's decision doesn't affect you

p.s. the way I understood it was they didn't like the fact he lied, regardless of any drugs. Also, health comparisons to alcohol aside, it's illegal in the UK.

@Speculator Have you "reevaluated your life" yet or are you still being "extremely pathetic"?

Oh, the irony!
Does anyone actually think he's funny.

Quite funny not one of the top tier comedians though and personally don't think I would pay those prices to see him.

Comedy should be in small theaters, you should be able to hear the voice with a simple microphone and low output, not a massive sound system. The best comedy comes with audience interaction and it's impossible to interact with 3000 people. Forget the politics but Manning did it every week, like it or not that was comedy.
