Half price Mobile by Sainsbury's sim only price plans.

Here are the plans they are offering:

300 minutes + 5000 texts + 500MB data
£8 a month (£4 the first 3 months)

500 minutes + 5000 texts + 1GB data
£10 a month (£5 the first 3 months)

800 minutes + 5000 texts + 2GB data
£12 a month (£6 the first 3 months)

You won't be stuck with it. You can change your plan each month.

Also you get Double Nectar points on your monthly payments. Plus double points on your Sainsbury’s shopping and fuel too.

I saw this deal, and thought it looked good. I don't know how good a network Sainsburys Mobile is, but these prices look good (even at full price). Since it is a 1 month contract, you could try it and cancel it more or less any time.

Thanks for looking.

hate these half price for a certain time things... we just joined talktalk and they sent us a phone leaflet on how we can get half price for the first 12 months... just give me less on the whole thing! :P

still, its a saving so hot from me!

I've used them.
You are stuck with the plan: You pay for a month upfront and beware that you aren't signing up for their one month rolling contracts which look almost identical.
Cancelling is a pain and you'll have to jump through hoops to get your Pac code.

Customer service is based in Scotland, but it might as well be overseas as they screw things up and generally aren't helpful.

The op is sim only, how is that different from a one month rolling contract?

They use Vodafone, 3g only.
I have ported to them recently to rapidly escape Vodafone after I got the free cancel for price rises.

Have to use the voda network for signal at work unfortunately.
I won't stay once the half price ends tho

I've used them and the network they run off is vodafone. Customer service was actually pretty good and they gave me a PAC instantly which I didn't end up using in the end. Maybe I was lucky but no problems so far except for rubbish network in some places :(.

Needs to be expired, no longer offering half price
