Thanks for this and pointer to the others

Evening,

Can anyone shed more light on this mattress? I can not find it in their catalogue?

I was looking at the memory mattress at tempur.co.uk/tem…uk/ who offer a trial but prices are steep!

The Argos offering a good one? Current mattress is awful and hopefully a memory foam one can help the back better.

Thanks,

Speedking, when you know what you are after checkout eBay. Been looking at them for a couple of weeks and they are seriously cheap compared to the shops (only be careful who you buy off and read feedback). Friend picked up a double for £160 just before Christmas.

Make sure you try it first though - mattresses are very personal things and I would never ever buy without trying it out (you spend a third of your life in bed!!

Made the mistake of buying a cheap mattress 3 years ago and have now replaced it with a coil sprung/memory foam one which is SO different (and more expensive initially, although probably not over the course of the life of the mattress)

Good point.

Typical i purchased one very similar yesterday for £450.00 . That will teach me.

This is cheap because it is not a 'proper' memory foam mattress it is a normal spring mattres with a thin memory foam layer on top.

How thin? Does anyone know?
I'm trying to find some details on the web but just don't seem to be able to find anything definite!

It really depends on you weight as too how thin is too thin when it comes to a memory foam mattress, i just bought one from Snug, and it is sooo comfortable, they also gave two free memory foam pillows.

Very good service.

Hello all We're looking for a new mattress and I've heard a lot about these memory foam products but I've not actually been able to find any independant report which gives the difference between these and 'normal' mattresses.
Does anyone know or can give any advice? We prefer a moderately firm bed. I note that ]these guys have a big sale on so I suppose I need to act quickly

Hi

Which? a few months ago reviewed a load of these memory foam mattresses they say "Memory foam mattresses are increasingly popular because they are good at relieving pressure on painful joints." if you want a list of there best buys ill send you them I don't want to upset the mods by posting them directly on here. But most of them are on here:

Hope you find this helpful
