Half Price Offers from Tomorrow @ Tesco

The Cereal Half Price deals are well worthwhile, considering if you spend £6 on ANY cereals, you will get the 10p off per litre fuel voucher also. For example, 5 packs of the Coco Pops would cost me £6.70 (a great price anyway), but would also allow me to save £10 in fuel, filling up both mine and the missus cars.

The half price deals from tomorrow are:

Kellogs Coco Pops (550g), down from £2.68 to £1.34
Kellogs Variety Packs (8s), down from £2.09 to £1.04

Tesco 2 Strawberry Trifle Desserts (175g), down from £1.49 to 74p
Tesco 4 Vegetable Spring Rolls (240g), down from £1 to 50p
Tesco 16 Cheese and Tomato Rolls, down from £1.49 to 50p (Frozen food is included in the 'double up' Summer Clubcard Exchange)

Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioners (various 900ml packs), better than half price, down from £4.69 to just £2
Colgate 360 Sensitive Toothbrush, down from £2.49 to £1.24
Aquafresh Whitening 100ml, down from £2 to £1

Dead simple. Wife goes to left hand side of pump, I go to the right and then fill her car from the pump on my side, and then stretch pump over to right hand side of my car. If we had pets or a working dishwasher, we could manage to save £55 in total. 5 x 10p fuel vouchers plus the 5p off per litre they sent me in my latest Clubcard statement. The guy at the Tesco Petrol Station says because the 5p voucher is a Clubcard offer, I can add it to five of the 10p vouchers.

Takethatfan you should have called up to complain, they usually resolve those situations one way or another by giving you money off your bill for example.

I phoned up to ask if they would be sent out as that is what the driver stated to be told if they are out of stock then there is nothing they can do about it. I would have been better traipsing to my nearest store as I would have received the voucher from the till. Bit of a pain considering I spent extra on tea bags-i prefer the co op fair trade ones.

My husband wanted to fill the car as he is doing close to 500 miles this weekend.

In my Tesco they have cereal in the shop at the petrol station. At the moment, Weetabix is on offer with 2 packs for £3. Buy 4 for £6 and you get a voucher and you can stack them if you buy more. Each voucher gave me £5.99 off my petrol, so I was buying 4 packs for effectively 1p as I had to buy petrol anyway.

When do prices go live, as 24HR tescos are now open all sunday night untill sept.

Fantastic tip. Or would be if wife's unleaded was same as my diesel.

Great tip - I'm going to try this. Has a member of staff ever questioned you? It says 1 vehicle on the exclusions, but I can't imagine it's common practise.

These were definitely on the Tesco website yesterday, as half price offers starting today. I think they must have realised that this would have been too popular a deal in conjuction with the ('spend £6 on ANY cereal and receive a 10p off per litre') fuel voucher promotion. You will see from my track record on here that I am not in the habit of making things up.

It's back showing half price on the website again. I got 2 of these, 2 Rice Krispies and 1 Fruit & Fibre today for £6.55. The fuel voucher will save me £10, so it was money well spent.

Thanks for posting Lowrieh,
good half price offers

Why's everyone only buying £6 worth, you can buy £30 worth and get 5 10p vouchers you can use together. Or use in conjunction with 2 x 160 tetly teabags for £6, again giving a 10p voucher.

Don't see how it can be restricted to 1 store or area, when I went through Tesco.com. Very strange.

Edited by: "lowrieh1" 7th Aug 2012

not showing half price for me either

Not half price here either; if you have an account then tesco.com shows the availability and price of your local delivery store.

Anyway, I got the 295g ones instead which are £1 in Asda and expect a Price Promise coupon for the difference.

Can anyone confirm that if I spend £12 on cereals, will I get two 10p vouchers?
The offer is for £6 or more. I'm already overstocked with Andrex toilet rolls to get multiple vouchers. Tea bags were out of stock.

Coco pops not showing half process for me either.

According to mse, yes this will work. I was cautious and scanned each £6 lot separately on self checkout.

just proves how much we are being ripped off for petrol when they can offer deals like.

ok heres a good way...
buy 8 x kelloggs crunchy nut cornflakes 750g @ £3.14 each = £25.12
buy 7 or 8 other different cheap products to compare (eg 1 beef stock cube - 10p, 1 chicken stock cube - 10p, 1 carrot, 1 grape etc)
estimated total bill £26ish..
pay and get 4 x 10p off vouchers..
keep reciept and enter it into tesco price promise online.. (crunchy nut 750g are £2 in asda)
tesco send you a voucher for £9.12 (the difference between asda price)
effectively you have paid £16 and got 4 x 10p off vouchers ...
This is the optimum list as tesco price promise is capped at £10.. warning do not buy any other items alongside these 8 or 9 items
