Might have been better to bury the bogey rather than leave the little guy sat on top of the milk bottle.

Buying from the top couple of rows - lovely, parents using scoops. Buying from anything within reach of a 3 or under year old - gross if you think about it.

That's why you generally don't see a bowl of unpackaged imperial mints in Indian restaurants any more - thoroughly inebriated fellows finish their meal, go for a tinkle, don't wash their hands, go to pay and have a fumble through the bowl of mints on exit.
Three things in life are sure... death, taxes and half price pick'n'mix when the kids are off school! Cheers OP, but on a side note, why have they changed their jelly bean supplier?!!!???!?
Just make sure you only pick stuff that is out of reach of children, for obvious reasons.
Oh man germ city and the sweet quality is comical
This is gonna be so hard to resist.. damn you, diet.
Anyone tried a Holland and Barratt pick n mix? Really really good

Most 15 year olds will be able to reach the top
Last time I was getting pick and mix from Wilko I was stunned at the amount of thieves and the absolute brazenness of them!

I was surrounded by 3 women and it was a case of one sweet in their cup, two in their mouth!!!

I called them out and all I got was "try before you buy, innit!".
I was like "It's chocolate!!! You never had chocolate before that you don't know what it tastes like!"

Told a member of staff and they were like "meh"
They don't include the mini eggs
oos of the share cups in my local shop whenever half price

... its when you go into M&S when all the bread / rolls are open, I saw a woman using her snotty hanky to pick them out... also in the cafe all the cakes open.... coughing and sneezing over 'em... no ta
If the sugar tax extends to sweets it might be worth stockpiling. On the other hand the sugar tax is working for me. All my favourite drinks now contain artificial sweeteners which I've never liked - so I've stopped drinking them. Apart from Pepsi and Coke I think.
Police have confirmed that thieves broke into the Odeon cinema in Central Southend late on Wednesday evening, stealing more than £350m of Pick ‘n’ Mix.
Police are questioning the local snackheads
Could be worth filling up a cup and weighing it. Maybe it could be cheaper to put it in a bag and buy by weight. Just an idea. I'll try it out tomorrow

Funnily enough I just did that.
I got a share cup for £2. Making full use of the space in the cup was a delicate cramming procedure with multiple stages.
By the end, I was curious how well I did. The weight in the cup with a lid came to £3.72. I'm happy with that. Challengers welcome.

I normally try to level the cup out with smarties and really smoosh it all down for added capacity. Mind you, I don't buy them often.
