To be fair, you sound a bit of a tramp...so...happy shopping :-)

Clearly, I'd rather asos.com my clothes.

Brilliant comment! How do you plus 1 it? Do you want a medal or something?!?

Where do you shop now? Is it something for you to aspire towards…you working your way up to being a tramp then?

I shop at "social acceptable" stores.

Clearly quite a sad person with nothing better to do than try to put others down. If its not for you why do you have to make such derogatory remarks to people who clearly do shop there.

I wasn't, i was saying, my opinion on "me" shopping there

I don't get the appeal with a lot of stuff from Asos.

Most of the stuff seems overpriced at Asos and is most likely made where Primark stuff is anyway lol

I like george clothing theres some really nice stuff...asos is way overpriced from what I have seen on their web

I love threads like these as it saves me the time of having to work out who the retards are on here.

Special thanks to e1usive for saving me the most time ever.

The George kids school uniform stuff is better than M&S in my opinion. Is M&S a more 'socially acceptable' store to benchmark against?

Me either, I can't get over how these people can't see that they are being at least a bit offensive to other users. Is it because it's anonymous?

Ps thanks OP, George is great for the basics. As for socially acceptable, all Uk clothing producers are inspected regularly to check they are trading fairly etc. Worst places I've inspected were producing for New Look, not Primark or Asda.

Give me George anyday. You can keep all your fancy designer stores I buy all my clothes at George and I think it is great.

George is fab for clothes for my Son as he grows out of them so fast..why spend a fortune on anything else? Some lovely bargains to be had. Also our new baby will be having George clothes nothing wrong with them IMO.

Maybe you could just nip in and see if they have any books or other material on grammar etc?

May even have something on posting on internet threads that you have no interest in whatsoever just to alert everyone to the fact that you don't like something. Do you make a point of finding things you dislike and commenting on them?

I think e1usive's point about what was 'socially acceptable' was more about what he/she considers to be worthy of being pointed and laughed at in the street. I don't think his/her contributions have been anywhere near intelligent enough to take into account anything like consumer ethics or corporate responsibility.

l rather get my work jeans from george and not have the worry of wasting money when they get cut or crap on them and can got lot pairs to last for price 1 pair 'socially acceptable' sigh

Thanks op....went to story today and got my 2 boys some lovely shirts with t-shirts for there holidays ! all for £3 each bargain !

I went to Asda today and was disappointed as they did not have a lot of clothes on sale and couldn't find anything interesting for me

e1usive

Clearly, I'd rather http://www.asos.com my clothes.

You're trying to make out like you wouldn't touch 'cheap' stuff yet here you are on a money saving site! FAIL big time.

OP: you say free delivery to store but it's trying to charge me £3.95 for the privilege!

As a random comparison, I used to buy underwear sets by Freya, £50 a set, last year Asda were doing a complete clearance on underwear, and I got 4 bras and 12 knickers for £10, they've lasted just as well and I hope to get some more for this years holiday. So give me Asda any day! Thanks OP and as for the snoot, get tae!
