hot!!

Half price Cinema is pretty awesome actually, might partake in that. Bye Netflix.

If you are out of contract you should cancel and they will give you 75% off any package plus £100 account credit on a rolling contract. Just check the 75% off thread on misc. no one and I do mean no one should pay full price for Sky.

The deal is hot and I 100% agree with you

Nothing if you already have sports and movies?

I've paid 60% off for so long I forgot when I actually got the deal. Sky put me on a monthly rolling contract with the deal when I grabbed it.

Last week, out of nowhere (like an RKO) they upped my contract to the full whack. I don't even know why I was checking my account online, but it's a good job I did. Anyway, TLDR; the best I can currently get is a match on that 60%. I'm going for 70% + £100, but if I don't, I'm going to continue with the planned installation of the Virgin Media Full House bundle.

Apologies for boring you. I just needed to vent at somebody

Nothing, which is why I cancelled a few days back

I have Sky and have a cracking deal but I think that they are a terrible company. The games you have to play to get a good deal is silly. I would actually pay more for the bundle I have but feel a little cheated that some pay less. I currently have the full TV package (RRP £80p/m) and a multi-room box for £30.50 a month. Some people pay £25 for the same package and some pay £92.50. This is wrong and shouldn't be allowed by law. If the package prices were the same for everybody Sky would have to make them reasonable to begin with otherwise they would have no customers! I believe that if Sky made the prices the same then they would have more customers, make more money by reassigning the retentions staff and have a better reputation. Just a thought...

I'm lucky if I get 50% off

"shouldnt be allowed by law"??? bit strong isnt it.

We need competition, if sky didnt have the higher payers, you wouldnt have the cracking deals- its down to them(mugs) to get their own deals. Bit like fuel customers still paying variable tarifs still-no sympathy.

Wish I could get that. Best I've managed is 20% off my tv bundle, £3 off hd and 12 months line rental for the price of 10. Saves me 20 quid a month, but I am in the £90+ a month club

Competition is good between providers but sky provide the same service to everybody at different costs. It is like a garage charging you one price for a service on a car and the next customer with the same car a different amount or like a supermarket changing the price every time a customer buys that particular product. It is not on really. It is ok for the savvy people on this site but some just haven't got the confidence to haggle.

Just keep pushing they will give you it in the end, tell them a mate got it, they will probably give you the 75% but could push the credit down. I was a month in to a 60% off deal and credit and managed to get them to up it to 75 by cancelling again. I was pushing a guy on the 75% thread he was getting nowhere and suddenly they just offered it. Been doing it for 14 years and now it's even easier, just make sure to put it in your calendar when the time is up and do it all again next year.

With sky for twenty years paying full price.
Cancelled to get a better deal but only offered 30% discount.
Said no they never came back to me.
Don't miss it save lots of money
