Are these better than the interdental brushes? I use them daily, but they are £2 a go and last less than a month. I was hoping this could be a replacement and would pay for itself in a year.
Brushes much better particularly if you need to control gum disease

Try off-brand interdental brushes, I find them comparable to TePe at much cheaper prices especially on offer, and you can use one for a few days if you keep it clean in soapy water/ isopropyl (edited)

If using a water flosser do it before brushing. If you do it afterwards, it will wash off the fluoride that you have just brushed on.

I recommend these for blasting food stuck between teeth. I wouldn't be without mine!

I struggled to use mine without spraying everything within 1 metre.

Thanks! Was recommended to get one by my dentist as I hate the feeling of floss in between my teeth

Nothing beats flossing. These are OK for getting back of hard to reach areas.
Normal tape floss can clear the space between teeth and potentially under the gums in that same location

But Normal floss can't clear the gum line in front or behind a tooth

    Imagine your front incisors
How do you clean under the gunline of your incisors without a water floss? You can't

Got a Panasonic for £28 a month ago. Still not used, but I will be using it soon. What I hate at this one and at mine is it is not coming with usb charging. The plug on mine is too heavy and it falls of the socket. Also, takes long to charge but the battery does not last long. Technology moved on and such devices are left behind. I bet Fairywill makes these with usb charge.
Voted hot for the price anyway.

From my experience the battery powered water flossers like this one are a poor substitute for a mains powered water flossers which are more powerful and great and generally keep my dentist happy
Another vote for a mains powered one over the battery one if you have power near a sink. Teeth feel sparkly clean after jetting followed by an Oral-B toothbrush clean. My dentist is now happy with my gums and didn't try to refer me to a hygenist last visit. I had a battery Panasonic model prior to the mains version of this and didn't really use it. (edited)

A dentist advised these are inferior to floss/sticks however worthwhile if you can't floss/use sticks

If you dont usually floss, buy this. If you are adept at flossing. Give it a miss.

Im in the former category. Always found it difficult to floss using tape and harps i struggled getting to the back teeth (probably terrible technique). I do love my water flosser. Dont dread flossing now.
For normal tape floss try using the oral b satin floss those are great. Most others especially generic super market ones are crap

Also these water floss actually serve a different purpose. The tape is for in-between your teeth. The water floss does that too but not as good. What the water floss does that the tape doesn't is get underneath your gum line and wash away any food particles that are under your gum lines

Ideally people should do the water floss and the tape floss. For most people the tape floss will only be needed if your teeth are very close together. For me I use the water floss which is fine for almost all the teeth but a couple of teeth are very close together so for those I use the satin tape but the teeth with more of a gap or less dense the water is sufficient

Overall these are great devises I'd highly recommend everyone get one

Is this much better than the flossing harps? I currently use them but this seems more convenient. Especially how I can add mouthwash and do 2 tasks in 1
No where near as good for me. I got one a couple of years ago. I loved it for about a week, but soon got tired of all the charging it needs. Also, they are quite big to have standing in the bathroom and soon start to look pretty horrible.

Would this work to treat tonsillitis?
    Absolutely not. You need antibiotics

Offer isn't working for me at checkout

I tried ordering around this time and saw the price suddenly switched back to £60 and the 'available offers' aren't showing, has anyone else managed to order at £30 after midnight?

The best one is the one which you use daily.
