Would have been great but ours go back to school tomorrow 😔
We went last week and really enjoyed it. We didn't get to see a few of the animals, they were hiding inside from the wind, but it was still worth it. It wasn't too busy either.

We went on Thursday, got there about 11. Plenty of car parking spaces, no queueing traffic. A couple of the enclosures were busy, but apart from that it didn't seem crowded at all. There was a bit of a queue in one of the cafes, but we didn't have to wait long for food and there was plenty of free tables.
Great my children have half term this week
Thanks! Been intending on taking to kids there soon, perfect timing
We went when they did the two day weekend previous to this. Queued over an hour to get in and literally as we were next to go inside they started turning people away us being one of them, luckily they were told via the radio there were few more spaces so we got lucky but felt sorry for all the children who were told they were going to the zoo to be turned away. Once we got inside it didn't even seem over crowded and was a lovely day overall even the weather. I'm glad they have extended this offer for a longer period of time this time around x

They seem to have learned the lesson from the same offer they ran last …They seem to have learned the lesson from the same offer they ran last month. .https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/local-news/absolute-carnage-twycross-zoo-visitors-1130158

Only slightly. They should have made it an online offer with limited ticket availability. So although they have spread it out a bit, it could still happen.

The reason it happened in January was because:
a) First time the offer was on.
b) It was for only 2 days.
c) Saturday was rainy so everyone came Sunday.

It's that last one c) where the weather can still drive the masses.
