Halfords 2 Tonne LOW PROFILE trolley jack £25 down from £39.99

For those of you with lower than average cars, this low profile jack might work quite well. It's actually now cheaper than their own standard jack. The standard jack needs 13 cm clearance, this only needs 9 cm.

great price, I was looking at the best part of £100 to get a slow profile jack last year, gave up in the end.

someone as opsted £19 from tescos earlier

Thanks for posting. Low profile is the deal here. Add something to get it to £30 and its free delivery.

Absolutely. I have no doubt you could get cheaper jacks (I think I paid £20 for an Aldi special earlier in the year), but this is the first time a low profile jack has popped up at a low price.

Ooo how much would I get off with a Trade card.

Good price and with 10% off £22.50 for a 2 Tonne Trolley Jack, I paid £71 for my 3 Tonne jack from Machine Mart.

Just bought myself a low profile trolly jack and axel stands and used the 10% off code.

Total £34 with free delivery.

Great price. No more driving up on old wood to raise the height!

Tempting...

What about this from … What about this from Amazon?http://www.amazon.co.uk/MovingParts-Heavy-Tonne-Hydraulic-Trolley/dp/B00AAZI8PO/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1411239973&sr=1-4&keywords=car+jack

Nothing wrong with that one, apart from the minimum height. If your car is less than 135mm off the floor then this would be difficult to use. £20 is roughly the going rate for a normal sized jack, as mentioned I got one from Aldi a while back.

Just bought one, I'm going clubbing tonight and this will be handy to jack up the lady I meet tonight when she's face down in a pizza on the pavement. Here's my trolley love you've pulled.

I have one of these but the only problem is it doesn't lift high enough to get the front end of my car onto axle stands from the same store, doh! I have to use a block about the thickness of a fencing post.

Very handy to have in case someone parks in front of your drive, as long as they don't leave it in gear

You seem pretty confident she'll be <2tonne?

I bought one of these earlier today without seeing this deal. They're not bad really

looks good

SGS kit is very good, I got my engine crane from them and it's absolutely rock solid (if a little heavy). The guy needed a tail lift and a sack truck just to get it on to my drive, and I had to unpack it to get it into the garage!

the SgS one shows the height, can you confirm is taller than yours?

They're pretty much identical, Halfords quote 9-36cm (approx), and SGS quote 89-359mm. SGS do more expensive ones that give bigger ranges.

As slimey said above, they seem to be identical. I wouldn't be surprised if they come from the same factory and just painted different colours.

My car is an e46 3 series M Sport coupe. With the jack as high as it goes and stands on their lowest point, I cant get them under the jack points on the sills.

The jack has a range of 9 to 36cm, but the axle stands go from 30 to 40 cm. Are you sure you're using the lowest point of the stands, IE removing the pin entirely?

Take it back and get the 2.5 or 3 tonne jack instead.

Followed the link even though it said the deal had expired. I was glad I did as it's still £25. I purchased the £13 axle stands and got free delivery too. Thanks o.p

I actually had no idea when the deal would finish, but had to put a date.
