Firstly NO it doesn't weigh 2 tonnes
Been after one for a bit and have been waiting for them to drop again, they have some decent offers about just now. There's also these Halfords Advanced Ratchet Axle Stands 3 Tonne Black Steel at £15 on their Ebay store with free delivery.

They do have the Axel stands on their main site for free C&C only too - Here
Unfortunately the jack doesn't have free del on, but it is on their ebay store too

Thanks, just reserved both for collection. Hubby could have done with these last month when doing an oil change on my daughters and my car.
short wheel base is crap btw, the lifting height just isn't good enough. I bought one some time ago and replaced it with a Clarke model , much better for allowing the axle stands at full height

The cup that contacts the car is not the best either. Ideally you want a much larger one, with a nylon pad on top of it to protect the paint.
Still it's a very good price.

I use a hockey puck; many others do the same if you look at 'similar items' of trolley jacks on amazon.

I have the trolley jack and has been superb for my 3-series
