I'd like them but they're no good now.
These days, car engines are so complicated you need to be a Rocket Surgeon to work on them.oO
Why the cold votes when it is only £1.60 per spanner?

car engines are much easier now (in my opinion) - just loads more plastic!
it took me a while to get the courage but you just plug the laptop in - it tells you what 's wrong (and what to test with pictures) and then you get the spanners out and change it - most things are really easy to get to now as well
I have a bmw 730d which is probably the most complicated car you would ever want - the mechanics are simple but the electronics are a pain (did the glow plugs last month for the winter - 2 hours removing plastic and 3 mins removing the glow plugs)
where as my boys classic car - took us weeks to work out that the rotor arm was breaking down and was the problem

These spanners are nothing special not that the other Halfords tools are.
Not covered by Halfords lifetime warranty, not even stamped with Halfords, exactly same set sold by others Hilka, Draper, Kamasa etc..
I've got a set perfect when someone what's to borrow a spanner.

On which modern car can you lift the engine out with a broom shank and a length of rope, alone? ( Ford Prefect)
Hinge the whole front end forward to access ANY part of the engine, suspension.(Triumph GT6)
Replace parts without resorting to Rocket Surgery, computers and gyneacolocal knowledge?
Replace the drive ( fan) belt without having to remove a front wheel, side panel and suspension part, then need to buy a special tool to do the job?
Change a bulb without having to remove front panels and headlights?.
Actually get your hands in to do a job?
And, as you mentioned. Ask Big Blue, Dr Who or your local Druid for assistance when all the mechanical parts are
( or just maybe) back in the right places?
And don't say "the Aerial Atom"

Same set sold by Silverline for just under £30 delivered on ebay.
Silverline do include a lifetime warranty.

Decent enough spanners, but no reason to pay an extra tenner for these when the same are available for 3/4 the price delivered.
