Was £20 not £30

Was £20 not £30

Was £30, but then they dropped it to £20 for a short while and now down to £10.
Was £20.
Is cheap for a reason.. I have one and the ratchet broke under pressure. Its going back. Spend your money on a better quality set, this is a false economy.
I got this last month for £6 quid. Not bad but no good for heavy work.

They used to have a great rep. Clearly must be cutting corners and getting it made by cheaper source.
Its not the only rubbishing of the brand Ive heard recently. Used to be highly praised years ago

are you thinking of the "advanced" series? these still are very good for the price.

this set is a basic one hence the likely corner cutting in quality

Are they that bad? for a tenner, I wouldnt be expecting too much anyway.
Imperial sizes, so a good investment. We'll be back to this and pounds shillings and pence after Brexit.

I have the set and it's been brilliant for all my jobs so far. I'm a bit lost without it

Night and day, people on here prefer cheap tools to good tools though.
Save your money and by some Halfords Advanced sockets. Cold.
I bought one a few weeks ago when it was on here for £10
i only bought it because my bank changed over and if i spent over a £10 they would give me the £10 back so i paid for £3 delivery and the bank paid me the £10 so only cost me £3 in the end.
Only opened it up to see if was ok and then put it in the draw where its been since i bought it.
It's fine for all those jobs you don't want to use your good set on. Depends how often you need to undo nuts about the house such as on furniture so you can keep your good set for the car.
Thanks
Not the best quality.
Halfords pro range are the way to go.
No more pieces for 10 ??

Thanks for the life story .... and absolutely zero contribution on the actual product!

What a funny comment!! Don’t use you expensive set for mundane jobs... buy a cheap set for that!! What!!!

Do you think mechanics have “snap on” tools for working on expensive cars.. and use this sort of thing for working on dacia’s..... !!! What a stupid comment!!(mad)
Cheap for a reason. Ratchet broke on medium work load after 2nd use. Halfords did not want to refund but they did after a bit of persuading
Showing as £20

Looks like they just put the price back up. Gonna mark the deal as expired.

The website managers probably just come in to hundreds of orders lol and have decided to whack it up again.

What a @#&* you are.
So when you're assembling your garden table you use your £200 socket set to do up 10 bolts rather than a cheap and cheerful set that you don't mind breaking or snagging up.

Fine you you @#&*face

I'll bow to your experience on them, all I can go by is the high praise they always got and NO bemoaners. Now it seems moaning about poor quality is common
