When I started on the tools, metric was for 'foreign stuff' only We had only Whitworth, AF and BA spanners and Sockets at work. I only used metric at home. I'd say 90% of people under 40 have no need for sae tools, yet halfords fill sets with them. Irony is if you dont need a plastic case the sets from halfords are a worse deal than their seperate sets, all metric and all 6 point.
It's £8 if you have a trade card but these sockets are definitely not up to the pro standard of Halfrauds professional standard tools.

Sockets might be, only 1/4" but the plastic ratchet certainly is not.
It’s an ok set if you just need something for diy jobs in the house. Picked one up a few weeks back with a discount code for 8 quid.
The ratchet itself is quite compact if you need something cheap for a confined space.
