(lifetime guarantee on the advanced range of tools)

(if the item has been abused it will not be replaced) .

I have had this set for sometime now and find it very handy . The fact that the ratchet will fit the spinner handler makes it a very usefull item.

Cheapest I have seen this item even cheaper than when I bought the set I have some years ago.I dont know how long it will be this price so get it while you can. If reserved online the item will be kept for a week and sold to you at the online price.
( as far as I know . read it on here somewhere )

just got this from their web site:

When you go to collect your item you'll always pay the price you reserved it at, even if the price has since changed or the offer's ended. We hold items for seven days, so it's ideal if you're eagerly awaiting payday!

I'm not an engineer, so can anyone explain to me why we buy 'Imperial' measured drives and 'Metric' measured sockets?

The drive system predates metric tools being widely available, made sense to continue so all previous tools were compatible.

Not necessarily ... Most breakages occur because users don't know how to use tools correctly - They'll try and undo a 17/19mm nut/bolt with a 1/4" ratchet instead of "cracking" the nut/bolt with a spanner and then using the ratchet to complete the removal ... User error not tool failure ...

Naughty. Entire metric system was designed to meet the shrinking capacity of the population's brains. Anyone can multiply and divide by 10. It takes a real brain to cope with the multitudinous variations of Imperial

Same had mine for around 10 year and still going strong. Just bought this as a spare £15 can’t go wrong
Had these for a few years and have never had a problem. These are a good quality socket set.
No stock
I have the smaller one and its been great but you would have more luck finding the Holy Grail
This has disappeared off the website? Don't tell me they aren't going to sell it any more.
