Buy the pre-delivery kit off ebay for around £15 and do it yourself. I did and got pretty good results, but you need a nice day to do it. There are people that say that the Lifeshine products are generally used by dealers in their pre-delivery valet but I can't comment on that. You do get a nice kit of the products, all of which you can buy yourself as you need them and will come to a lot less that £400. I believe it is a big commission product for the sales staff.
Do it yourself , they make more on add on like these than the bloody car !,, you see unused kits on eBay for 30/40 quid..the lifetime warranty only applies if you take it for regular yearly inspections
Hate it when people say hashtag!! Like when people say "so" as in I so hate it when people say hashtag!! Also hate it when people say can I get instead of can I have!! #****
Don't do it. For a start the stuff is rubbish, to make matters worse the monkey putting it on will do so badly. My advice - as soon as you get your new car, take it home give it an all over wash with a concentrated shampoo mix then clay the entire car. Afterward apply a good quality sealant like Finishkare 1000p / Collinite 476 / Dodo Supernatural. This will produce much better results and furthermore you will be able to maintain it.
P.S #kissmyhairyhashtag.
Finishkare 1000p / Collinite 476 / Dodo Supernatural are all excellent products but to be honest for the vast majority of folk this Autoglym pack will probably do. Wash - polish - seal every 3-6 months with washes inbetween, easy to apply and hassle free
Buying those products is a slippery slope to blowing your wages on detailing gear
for new cars i'd prefer to treat and seal it myself too, dealer options are going to be over inflated
Aye but he is talking about spending £400 on life shine!! That was the specific comment I was replying too. As for Collinite - its cheaper and better than just about anything in the AG range, including the HD wax. So if your on tight budget that's your pick
I'm buying an audi and i wouldnt touch autoglym lifeshine at dealers. Its about 10.00 but they charge 400.
Problem is there are far better products and the fact that the dealers valet staff are useless and they get very litlle time to prep a car.
Ill either do it myself or get a detailer to do a proper job
