Superb! I just need a bike manual now! Heat !
Great price
Just to prove what an absolute STEAL this is, I just searched for Argos bike tool kit. This is what I got for £8.99 :

argos.co.uk/sta…htm meh (_;)

And THEN there`s THIS, at THIRTY FLIPPIN QUID! oO
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2377779.htm

BUY the Halfords one, but DON`T leave it until tomorrow, `cos there`ll be none left!
OOS in Peterborough
Right I bought the Raleigh bike on here the other night to go with my Plant X helmet that was also on here. Now whats this kit for? I have quite a lot of tools in the garage hex sets etc........is this any use?

Most of the tools in this kit are specific to bicycles
Shame I already got bought one by my parents from aldi, last year. Else I would have got.

great just reserved one
dont forget british cycling discout thats another 10% off. got the bike hut one today paid £13.50.
was told they are getting rid of these two tool kits to make way for the new version coming.
Is there anything in the £10 kit that you don't get in the £15 one? Is the latter for people who already have the "essentials"?
Great prices!

its better quality compared to the £10
Cheers op. Went for the Halfords one.
I bought the essential one earlier in the Summer for about £20 and that was a bargain at the timevand its good enough for occasional maintenance
for £10 its an excellent bargain...heat added
Cheers op, just reserved one. Have a few odds already, but at this price, beats waiting for aldi to reduce their kits
Excellent. Little Xmas pressie for 2nd born. Thanks OP...!
None in York
Cheers OP, just reserved the bikehut one. The Bottom bracket spanner is worth almost that on it's own. Cheers

The essentials kit looks like better value than the bikehut one- it has a better range of tools. There's not even a chain whip for removing sprockets in the bikehut kit- the cheapest one on its own at Halfords is £8.

The Y-shaped allen key and sockets take up a lot of space in the bikehut set, but their design seems pretty pointless. Not exactly compact for carrying on the move.
I've ordered one of each, thanks OP.
Just reserved one at Plymouth Cornwall st
Great deal but very limited to stores only and limited availability at that.
Reserved, thanks OP!
Looks like its oos
Just reserved one at Lincoln Carlton centre, thanks OP
Just reserved one.

Thanks op
I have the essentials one - quality is a bit ropey. I don't have remotely strong hands, but I accidentally managed to bend the chain splitter on first use. The tyre levers are xmas cracker toy quality. There's only so much useful stuff in there, to be honest. The allen keys, screwdrivers and spanners are all things that most people would already have. If you've got a Shimano Hollowtech bottom bracket and cranks then you'll need a couple of extra tools for those. The only things in my kit that really get any use now are the chain whip and the cassette tool. In all fairness, they're probably getting on for a tenner's worth on their own, so it's pretty good at this price. Less so at £30 or whatever it normally is.
Ordered. Thanks. Halfords just rang in louth. Sorry we haven't got any stock so cant complete your order. Nicr one. Cheers.

sAME HERE - sTOCKPORT.
Reserved, heat added. Thank you!
To be fair these kits are pretty much defunct as most of the tools would be covered in most peoples standard tool kits, the only things that are really specific are the bottom bracket tool and the chain spliter, but hey if you are tool free then would be a good buy
Sorry - Cold. Yes it's a great offer - except it's not available for delivery, it's not available for Click & Collect, and it's not available in any store within 50 miles of me.

IOW - Halfords are sucking us in to a non existent offer. Great marketing & advertising, crap deal.
