great thanks

Great offer assuming the prices will be the same now i.e. some items are half price.

Great, thanks

Does anyone know if the discount will be applied to click and collect orders if it is reserved within the 2 hour time frame? I know delivery is free but I would rather collect it sooner

I don't know for certain but can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't be.

Not sure what u mean Graham but put another way you can bet you asss free delivery will be over a minimum order value and the additional discount won't apply to other deals currently on offer some of which have been posted on here this week.

If I'm wrong then happy days

They'll only ring you up to cancel your order explaining how your item was taken by Noel Edmonds riding a hovercraft or similar lies. Useless.

Be aware, you can't use your British Cycling discount card (10%) if you buy something during a flash sale. Happened to me, when I bought a Boardman bike in June 2016 and cashback via. Topcashback was denied as well...

That's a bit of a sweeping statement no doubt based on one bad experience. I've never had that problem with them, I've always found them to be helpful and hassle free?!?

It's true. I actually saw Noel Edmonds go past my house in his hovercraft, he was waving a satnav at me. Infact it was exactly the same one that I ordered on click and collect. I thought nothing of it until 5 minutes later, the dreaded phone call. It was then that I realised Noel had it. All true...

10 - 20% off is not much oO

Shame no adult bikes in the sale

So have I, but like you said it depends on the staff member as others have refused to.

With regards to the British Cycling discount it should apply unless in the offer it states otherwise. Sadly some staff are unaware of the British Cycling discount eligibility so it might be worth having the latest terms and conditions.
Members and official Fans of British Cycling can get 10% off everything in-store at Halfords, including sale items.

Halfords stocks Boardman bikes and is the UK's leading bike retailer with over 400 stores across the UK.

This offer is only available in store. Excludes all website only prices and deals. This is not available in conjunction with Cycle2Work vouchers.

Read more at britishcycling.org.uk/mem…nts

So if the sale is website only the BC discount will not apply, however I have known them still to put it through, I guess it depends on the member of staff.

"Extra 10% off everything" should do it??

Does anyone know what to look for in a cycle trainer? My bike is a Kona Lavadome. Maybe I should get some thermals, and a decent light!

^^ i'm awaiting a TCB Halfords voucher and going to buy the Tacx Flow to hook upto Zwift. I'm buying a smart trainer as the normal ones are quite boring. The flow has mixed reviews but it is nearly £115 cheaper than the Tacx Vortex which i would of preferred but can't afford with xmas coming up.

As you have a MTB I wouldn't bother getting a trainer, i'd get out there and get mucky

"on one bad experience"... not really... I have had several C&C things "mysteriously lost"... having reserved for my nearest store (about 5 miles away), and receiving email to say "its in store now"...so I make the journey, only for the staff to "not be able to find it" at all...even getting the store manager involved to no avail. Not even getting some sort of goodwill discount on another equivalent item for wasting my time!

The 20% off car seats is only when you trade in a booster seat and that deal's been on for a while, unless I'm missing something

Great find! Heat from me cheers

Great news.

Only just spent £200 with them ffs. Its all going back tomorrow then.

I think i'm going blind but can't see any of the offers when clicking on links, It's just sending me to the main page. I'm interested in the car seats and workshop

I've noticed a car seat I was looking at only the other day has gone up from £159 to £180. So even if it stays at £180 tomorrow it'll be £144 so still cheaper than it was the other day but not as much of a bargain if it had stayed at £159.

Cheers for the post Op

Well, if you can wait until after 21:00 on the 28/10/2016 you can pay full price again.

Try a Tacx Galaxia. Takes some getting used to but it's much better than a standard trainer you attach the bike to.

Losing count of negative responses to this, but +1 from me.
I have never yet had a successful click and collect from Halfords - always some excuse as to why it isn't available.
Terrible stock control or deliberate con - I can't work it out?

I think it's terrible stock control including shop lifting as generally security is poor.
I rarely go to the store before at least 24 hours has gone by so I can check whether Noel and his unicorn powered hovercraft have visited first.

Small things for me have been like that when collecting. Large expensive items, they always seem to have.

To be fair to halfrauds, the last thing i collected a year ago was a little alarm. I ordered 3, they only could find 2, but only charged me for 1. So i cannot complain. Annoying if i really needed/wanted those 3 though.
