Its not on their website, and cannot pone stores near me as they are closed now.
for 20 quid briliant price imho.

Not on Halfords website in the South East of England. They cleared out alot of their own brand batteries back in the summer at £20 each. Cold from me unless working link can be shown.

Hot. Looks like EOL stock. Not listed on website.

I posted as an offline offer. in store only. I also did a store check before I left work. the above stores show stock levels which should yield at least a couple of good batteries. someone will benefit I'm sure

If a store has stock, then please explain how there is no such battery?
Just because you can't buy it online doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

The OP list 'not all stores have stock' but then states 'You won't find it online'

So how do you know not all stores have stock if you cant check on line ?

These were on offer before (online too) got one at 25, or 20 can't remember, still in the shed...

Just wondering, does one have a spare battery not used over extended period will lose charge? Will it need conditioning after long periods of non-use?

All batteries will discharge into the atmosphere over time. Just make sure it is stored in a dry and warm environment with nothing connected. You could consider a solar trickle charger but that may ruin it if there is no normal drain on it like a cars clock or alarm running off it.

Managed to get one today at Halifax.

Thanks OP. Managed to pick up 2 at Cumbernauld today. Planning to use these with an invertor during power cuts.
