No thanks, I'd rather drive without an MOT than trust my car to them. Even if it was free.

Why's that?

same staff as when it was nationwide/AA set of scamers .

Why's that?

Because that is opinion of them.

I still think its a good deal considering it's coming up to christmas, and the fact people will be wanting winter services

cheap service and MOT as they will "find" things wrong and make all the money they could ever need from that side of it.

I tell you, nothing good will come of this.

Ah just in time for the "Please come with me and take a look at this" then hit you with a £200 repair bill. NO THANKS wouldn't trust them lot to change a bulb.

They cant do more work to a customers vehicle without permission, so if they say you need £200 worth of work, take it somwhere else to get a second opion

Which means your wasting more time & money & might as well take it to a reputable MOT in the first place.
Whilst your taking it to get a second opinion you might as well stop off at Kwik fit on the way.

There's not many reputable garages out there, but let me guess, you know the guy who owns the garage you take your car to?!

Yes, I know the guy who owns the garage I take my car to. Is there something wrong in knowing the owner? Is Halfords, where I don't know the owner, better for some reason?

Rubbish! I've been using Nationwide and their half-price deal for years with no trouble. They've *always* passed the car first time. However they have once given me a notification - not a fail, just a note attached to the MoT to tell me my numberplate was degrading. they didn't offer to do the work themselves, nor did they make any comments except "you'll need to get this looked at"
Let your paranoia run your life if you want, but for the rest of us this is a good deal. HOT

There are a few good ones if you know where to look, I have been using mine for 4 years all with passes, I even buy my own parts that need replacing & they are happy to fit. The best thing to do is search views online for your local garages .

not a chance letting these monkeys near my car
stone cold .

+1 Muppets.
