Please don't buy these - they're notorious for leaking around the seals …Please don't buy these - they're notorious for leaking around the seals when not quite seated properly. Seen loads of near misses with these at the VW shows and camps. Get a proper stove and gas bottle - more bulky and expensive but ultimately miles safer.

That's user error, I have this to supplement my campervan cooker, the cannister should be locked in place when in use then unlocked when not. The cannisters are notched and lock in a slot but can be forced onto the connector using brute force if they aren't then they will then leak gas. If a user is too stupid to follow the instructions on such a simple gas device properly then they are a Darwin Award candidate but then maybe it's VW show specific......after all 'scene tax' isn't all that clever

got one of these some years ago when my daughter was too small to use the hob, since then its been placed behind the kitchen cupboard kick-board along with a 4 pack of gas for emergency use, (with the candles & such)

(came in a blown plastic case) ..recommended.

Thanks for posting @zippyantsuk we have added this to the Highlights page
These are great... they all seem to work/perform the same, quite economical on gas too... festival/burger/egg... great.

Had 2 for years, ideal for onions at bbq and in power cut situations...never any leakage.
My Halfords one has out lasted 2 other cheaper versions.

Bought one of these in Decathlon (pretty sure it was about £10 then) and it works great. Seen people make the mistakes described above but never had any issues.
Never £20 most I’ve seen these for is £12 in a supermarket - can get them from anywhere for this price give a £1 or £2
I had a 10% voucher code for this FLASH10 it might have run out tho. I got mine for £9 and the gas is 4 for £6 so i got that for £5.40.
Please, please do not buy one of these, they are no way economical, more inportant is they LEAK...
I had one, used it down my allotment in the shed and the second time i used it there was a hissing coming from the seal , luckily i heard it before igniting the stove. Too close for comfort. Please do not buy one.

Please
So Aldi do the cheapest cans? And as a first time user how long will a can last? 5mins? 30mins? Thanks
Great for being able to cook fish and steak outside, leaving the house clear of smoke and lingering odours.
Home Bargains sell the gas - 4 cans for £3.99
Perfect for making coffee in Venice
Even cheaper now at £8.50 instead of £10
