Could have done with these a fortnight ago when a pitch we were on was so hard, it shattered an snapped my plastic awning pegs. Borrowed some of these off my neighbour and they held perfectly. Bargain at £2.50, as the local camping/caravan dealer has these at 80p each.

You can get very good tent pegs for a quid a dozen in pound shops. Halfords is a rip off.

Beg to differ. Decent pegs become worth their while in windy conditions like recently.

These go in well and hold fast. The problem is extracting them if the ground is hard. The plastic snaps and all you are left with is a 9" nail in the ground. Claw hammer or pliers may work but why you would want to take such an item on a camping trip.

These will last ages and stand up to most weather. They can be difficult to get out but not had too many problems

those pegs at wilkos aren't great.
the groundhog ones are best force 8 storm they never came out of the ground unlike my friend with the wilko style ones .tent blow away.

Always this price, not sure why they say its half price. I got them 5 months ago same price. If you are careful when hammering them in, the plastic doesnt break. They are great pegs for price
