Halifax All in One Credit Card - 9 months 0% for purchases & 0% for balances transfers + £20 QUIDCO

Are you overdrawn in you bank account?
With this card, you get 0% on purchases, which means, you wont be charged interest on purchases for 9 months.
simply stop spending from you bank account, and use this card, when the bill comes thru, only pay the minimum payment, no interest will be charged.
Also, do NOT withdraw money from cash machine using this card, you will get charged! Instead, ask for casback at the till when making payments, e.g. at Asda.
Your salary will slowly bring back the bank account from the Red, and when your ready, you can start to make larger payments to your credit card to clear it off, without going back into the red at the bank or being charged interest, or overdraft fee's again!
Dont forget the Quidco - you will get £20, so even if you decide not to use the card to its full potential (0% purchases & balance transfers), you will still get £20!!
Oh, & the interest rate on the card is only typical rate of 15.9% APR (variable) - which is still minute compared to other brands such as Barclaycard, etc which can be over 29.9%

I've got one of these credit Cards but no current account and have no problem making payments online :?

The amex platinum cashback card is a better offer £27 quidco and 5% cashback on your purchases for the first 3 months. So good if you can remember to pay it on time to avoid interest

Sorry I meant you can't get cashback at asda as OP was suggesting.

I got one of these the other month & quidco tracked no problem

The advice above is nuts!!

Telling people to use a credit card to clear debt on a bank account.....:whistling:

Advice like this is the reason some people are in so much debt!

Rick

So no balance transfer fee either?

This is freemoney get the card and the £20 cash back, cut it up and send it back £20 profit how can this be cold?

A handling fee of 3.9% applies for each balance transfer

3.9% is a bit steep! Not going near this

Never pay only the minimum amount. If for 9 months you only paid the minimum on the 10th you'll get hit for a huge amount.

This is some of the worst financial advice I've seen in a while.

Good card, dreadful advice.

Thanks OP.

Applied for it and been accepted.

Pete

Halifax are the only card provider I couldn't get to waive the fee when I forgot to make a payment :x

Actually I don't really understand what does the "0% balance transfer" mean.

If, I have a "Credit Card A" which has £3000 credit limit. I used card to pay for a new car deposit and then transfer it to the Halifax Card (provided that I have at least £3k credit as well). Does it mean I don't need to pay for anything (interest and premium) in that "free balance transfer period" and if I settle the bill whenever before the end of that period, what I need to pay is that balance transfer fee + premium only?

Pls advise.

You can only get cashback in stores on debit cards not credit cards. Ok card deal, terrible op though, advising people to rack up 9 month of living on a cc. Then it will have be paid back at a very high interest rate.......madness.

Thanks have applied and been accepted:thumbsup:
