Is this safe.
halifaxcreditchecker.co.uk

It's asking for my card number expiry date and security code.

If it was from Halifax would I not just use my usual login.

Don't think I'll be using it.

it is safe I was sceptical but other half works for Halifax and put me onto it. I get why you would be questioning it, I would be reluctant if it wasn't for the fact that the missus gave it the all clear.

Always check the site via whois if you have any doubt.

the halifaxcreditchecker.co.uk site is genuine and the credit report is provided by call credit. the same company which is behind noddle.co.uk site.

I'm not keen on call credit or noodle seem to think there scores are wrong compared to experian .

Halifax does not belong to the RBS group - they belong to Lloyds Banking Group.

Bank of Scotland and The Royal Bank of scotland are complete separate entities.

it's mad something for free can be at minus 20! I guess the public of hot UK deals begrudge banks.

maybe I should rebrand this as a icreditcheck and it would do better

Why do you think that?

presumably because the scores are so different

one gives 600, the other 900

My doodle score is just 550
Is there anyone else or I have to suicide

Mine is just above half what it is on the other well known sites. I think I'll take a wander in to the branch and have a chat with them or change my bankers!

Mine is 643 on noodle

Used noddle for two years never been charged a single penny, if people aren't wary or as i like to call it clicky thicko's then of course some will accidently on purpose sign up for premium services...

I have a score of 301 and 1 / 5 and according to noodles scale its in the very poor and I will be turned down for credit and current accounts applied for 4 accounts since and all have been accepted X) so I would say its wrong also I have been with noodle for 3 years and its never been over 2 / 5 never missed a payment and always paid on time , so that is my reasoning behind it

But credit scores can't be right or wrong as they are calculated differently for different organisations. The exact scoring algorithms used aren't published. All you can really say is that the Noodle score was a poor match, and therefore predictor, for the accounts you applied for at the time. The notion that we each have a single universal credit score is a fallacy perpetuated by companies who want to charge us to find it out.

i think its just one of those things. noddles on here all the time and only last week it went hot on the fact it give credit scores free.
halifax are not giving anything free because you can get it anyway direct from noddle. but don't let it stop you posting deals. people do make use. so dont let cold voters put you off.

do you really want to give Halifax a lot of personal details? last year I opened a ISA with them. 2 weeks later my current account and my new ISA were hacked, inside job thought they never admitted it
