HALO 3 (XBOX 360) for £34.99 online from UWISH (£32.89 via QUIDCO)

OK I know non-gamers are sick of these Halo posts, all the true fans probably picked this up for around this price as Pre-orders & other threads have had posts pointing out that a number of High St stores have this(in limited supplies?) for about this price but by ordering online you have the opportunity to save just over 2 quid (£2.10 cashback via 6% Quidco) on the best of these prices.
The lowest online price posted seems to have been Game Collection who I've always found to take a lot longer than UWISH's very quick dispatch(usually 24-48 hrs) & who aren't on Quidco.

There are a lot of stores at this price, Blockbuster and sainsburys just to name two.

Not denying that & as I said, but there is a limit to what the High Street stores can hold as stock & a lot of these copies had been allocated to Pre-sales according to some of the posts here (It's also been mentioned that Blockbusters will only be running this price for 10 days).

Game Collection are the cheapest I've seen @ 4p less but I've used them & their delivery timescale sucks compared to Uwish's generally arriving within 24-48hrs.

Sure, if people have to have the game right here & now & they're near a store that has stock & is selling at 35 quid (or less in some cases with trade-ins) then buy it....all I'm pointing out is that with Quidco (who I've NEVER had fail to track with Uwish) this is cheaper than that by about 2 quid delivered to your door. It might be worth remembering that not everyone here is from a big town or city & some people use online shopping for this reason.....

This is true, but still not exactly an amazing deal to post!

whoa, no bold?

Maybe there is a god after all

Some good points there mate, which is why online purchases is crucial to some people and with Quidco, it works out a little cheaper too.

Voted hot.

Good Good Good Mr. G

Hold this is £34.99 -- but if you order off game.co.uk for £34.99 with the £5 off code GETUPANDPLAY you get it for £34.99 plus 11% quidco which means you get it for £31.14

I think that deserves a deal

probably because they used to be owned by them

however much you pay, it's better than the £50 prices we had to put up with round the launch of the 360.

my copy of halo 3 arrived yesterday before I went to work (cheers for that GAME, and cheers or HUKD for getting it for less than £32  )
Shame then that my 360 was out for repair still
Spent all day muttering *&$#@@ MICROSOFT, ?€&@$ HALO 3*

Dandoc2, try not to throw a spoiler in the thread, it's not big and it's not clever.

I have used uwish before with no problem, however I have not used getupandplay? I'm sure each deal will be judged on it's merits:thumbsup:

God spot Uncle Charlie

I'd say try PC World, they have it @ the same price and you can go online to check they have stock and then reserve if they do. No waiting about for delivery then.

Actually Gamestation used to be owned by Blockbuster, but are now owned by Game. £74 Million for all 238 stores. (In Issue 61 gamesTM)

I've already said that if you want it for 35 quid then there are High Street shops where you can get it for that, but online this is about the best price (contingent on Quidco tracking, but I've never had a problem)...

Quidco starts looking iffy for order & collect orders when you read...

N.B. PC World will not be rewarding cashback for [email protected] sales.

I had read this when Forza 2 was released. I had already pre-ordered it from GAME online before release at £34.99 and then saw that PC World had it for £29.99.

I hadn't opened my GAME copy at the time so planned to go back into town and see the local GAME store would refund the £5 difference (if not I would just get it refunded and buy it from PC World). I made a PC World [email protected] order the day before I went into GAME (going via QuidCo as I had it open at the time).

The next day I went into GAME and managed to get the £5 difference refunded after I had informed them of the PC World price. Got home later that day to find that the PC World [email protected] order had been tracked by Quidco. Thought that it was odd at the time but soon forgot about it. A few weeks later I found that not only had the PC World [email protected] order had tracked, but I had been paid for the transaction as well. I didn't even collect Forza 2 from PC World :-D

costco is the cheapest 'shop' ive found at 34.88 if you have a costco card...they had loads of copies in the reading store.

from what ive played so far....cant say im that impressed with Halo 3 but earley days yet......i prefer Bioshock
