great little gadget for old folk

Order Total: £8.80

now its showing £8.75 lol

just a note i have tried this stick and it is NOT weight bearing. maybe as a poking stick to find hard ground, but it flexes too much and i dont have faith in the locking mechanism used to hold the parts together. if that fails your going down hard.

Boought the other model they have which is all-but identical and they both have stars moulded on the grip. I guess they're there for added traction, but all they do is rub on the inside of your hand and cause blisters. (_;)

I have now bought both the Hama & Cam-link versions of this stick and they are all-but identical. The Hama has slightly more foam on the grip and their name printed on it. I took a dremmel to the grip and smoothed them off and they're fine.

No, they're not load-bearing, but few walking poles are. They're mostly for balance and a wee bit of extra support on steep slopes. But, because of the design, you can claim it as a wlaking stick and take it on a budget airline without having to use your travel allowance which you would for a dedicated monopod or tripod.;)
