Thank you, it's cool
Very tempting but the photos and reviews leave a lot to be desired! Heat anyway, for the price - worth a gamble.
looks like something youd see on wallace and grommit

It's cheap, but it's crap!
I quite like mine X)

Where to get the sausage / bacon / ham rounds like in McD's though, that is the question?

That Guardian kitchen gadget blog is just about the best thing on the site!
Slightly OT but McDonalds Sausage is this:

For each sausage patty:
Pork Mince 2oz
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Sage
1/4 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
Pinch Salt
Pinch Pepper.
Get your hands in, rough it all together and flatten to a 'patty' shape. Fry over a medium heat.

If you buy yourself an egg ring you can fry a McMuffin egg. Toast muffins, add cooked egg, sausage and a slice of cheese. Wrap in foil and oven for about 5 minutes. It's a perfect sausage and egg McMuffin and tastes exactly the same.
I have this and it's great. As long as you don't put the top part of the bun in before the egg has turned white. Otherwise you'll end up with the top part being an egg/bread mess.
Also own one of these, tbh the first time I used it I was disappointed, but then again I rushed it, made a mess everywhere and kept checking the sandwich before it was ready. Second time with more confidence followed the easy instructions and left it to do its work for 5 minutes and then bang it was ready and lovely.

Been using it more or less daily since and always works great, really simple and tastes good at the end of it. Definitely worth the money.
This looks like it will spend more time in the sink getting washed, another item for the back of the cupboard used twice.

Ah thanks! If the guardian says is crap, it must be awesome. On that review I bought it. Sausage and Egg McMuffin tomorrow!

that godian review cracked me up

After five minutes I’m instructed to rotate the egg plate by its handle: the tray slides out, empty. Its contents have been incorporated into the meal stack. Woooah. That’s some weird juju. I lift the cooking rings, avoiding the burning steam. Out flops a puck of oil-red bread and perfectly circular egg solids. The two halves are differently disgusting, and so slick with grease they slide off each other. I feel sick. This hot mess might work as part of a controlled diet; let’s call it The Fatkins, in which you only eat foods fried in cheese fat. Impregnating a sandwich with an egg, a breakfast in vitro invertus, may have medical significance. As a meal, it’s so depressing it should come with medication included, and numbers you can call. Hamilton Beach sounds like an upscale neighbourhood in a US soap opera; but it doesn’t get more low-rent than this.
whats wrong with a standard frying pan to work out the same magic? I see new cooking gadget come up on the market every day, just to be kept in the storage after a few tries.

Asda sell sausage patties 2 for £1 on the butchers counter and also pre-packed 4 for £2 in the chiller. Very nice with some pancakes and syrup. They are a bit thicker than the ones you get in maccies but you can squash them down and make them bigger
At last - a name for my diet, "Fatkins"! The only gym I got to is Jim Beam.
Pre-cooked meats and a hard egg? Yum, yum...

Look, man - a frying pan can't be used for cooking an egg while doing cardio-pump-tai-bo, it just doesn't have the right level of feng-chi and even though you bought it new might have had gluten rubbed on it or had chicken without the right level of muscleyness near it. There's no way I'd go near this product unless it was a pick selected by a mod. It's just not done.
how do I get this for that price
pamurp

how do I get this for that price

Buy a time machine and go back 6 months!

It's not been that cheap for quite a while (lowest ever £10.99) but was £15.99 yesterday. Best thing to do is set a price alert on camelcamelcamel and when the price drops they will email you to tell you.
