The bezel looks very similar to a rolex yatch master 40

Wipe clean too.
Mike, I don’t know how you’ve got the energy for the ensuing comments given the craziness of the other Hamilton post.
Mine will be delivered by DPD this morning. Looking forward to my absolute bargain.
Auto Chrono for £600 unbelievable value
Not a bad looking watch, with a good movement for the price. The only thing that lets it down for me, is the Lum isn't very bright and only on the hands.

Does anyone know what years this was being made? As it's obviously not in the current range, on the Hamilton website.

I've only ever had one Hamilton, and that was a Hamilton Men's H52585339 Pulsomatic. Bought on eBay for £200, it was only worn a few times. I sold it on eBay a couple of years later for £380.39456685-y7GOP.jpg
Shame it's ugly. 45mm is huge too. Otherwise amazing deal for that movement.

44mm, not so large.

Depends on wrist size. For most people this would be too big.

Ohh very nice, I haven’t heard a peep about my one yet, just assumed it would be after Xmas now but hopefully I get lucky too

I know, unfortunately for me I'm on the larger size. So my watches reflect that and I go for larger diameter watches. As for looks, I quite like it, but my day to day watches are normally concidered sports/diving watches. It's only the Lum or lack of, that is stopping me ordering this.

Mines here. It’s going back. Love it, but it’s not balanced properly for me. The watch is heavy, which I love, but the strap is so light I can feel the watch almost pulling to get under my wrist. I contemplated changing the strap, but I’ve decided just to return it.

Ah no, that's a shame. Still no harm done. I wonder what I'll make of mine when (if) it shows up. Almost certainly will be changing it on to a bracelet, got a Jubilee that needs a new home and I hope they go well together.

Rolex? Haha!

You wouldn't get past the doorman wearing that mass market junk at my local Wetherspoons. If you're not wearing a Patek with complications, you may as well go home.

That's a different watch.
Also a quartz, which goes to show how good value this one is!

Were talking about the same guy who is searching hukd for car screenwash like if you were wearing £5-£30k watches youd be searching for the best deal for a £1.50-£3 carton of screenwash... if they were true watch enthusiasts like most AP wearers are they would know the Hamilton brand, even if they didnt like the brand

Personally, I find it hard to believe anyone who is interested watches doesn’t know Hamilton, it’s one of those respected, reputable brands that are in most good jewellers. Even posh mainstream dealers stock them.
Does the Jazzmaster have a stop watch to record PB.

Bummer. Always disappointing when something like this doesn’t meet expectations. Especially when you were probably excited about your Christmas pressie to yourself. But it is called a Jazzmaster so I think you have made the right decision.

Rolexs really aren't that impressive, not to people that know about watches anyway.
A Rolex/Omega/Tag is an everyday watch for people in the know and with money.
Yes tag is not in the Same league

Plenty of people I know use Tag as an everyday watch for work, probably don't have the know but certainly have the money (Private equity)
Hamilton doesn’t have the same ring to it as other well known watches

Think you've said that already.

Depends what you're comparing it to. If you're comparing with Rolex/AP like you mentioned before, no of course it doesn't. Those brands are in a completely different price bracket / league.

If you're comparing with other entry tier swiss brands like Tissot, Longines etc, I personally prefer the Hamilton brand history and generally the Hamilton designs. But that's an individual choice.
Yes I think everyone tastes are different along with their lifestyles

Just have not in watches of Switzerland
Why don't Hamilton use good lume? I read it isn't that bright and fades to nothing. Even cheap Casio's have lume that lasts.
Bowing out gracefully Hamilton lovers

Just don't go to pubs frequented by bell ends.

Problem solved.
