Most likely due to being a grey market watch so comes with no official Hamilton warranty.

You see I thought that and I have purchased a couple of relatively cheap watches from them but have not had to deal with warranty I wonder whether there would be issues if you do need the warranty.

They’re not an authorised dealer for most of the brands on their site. You’re right- they offer a two year warranty but that is provided by themselves and you would have to send the watch back to them.

If you were to buy a Hamilton from there for example, you would not be covered by the official Hamilton warranty so you could not send it to Hamilton for repair etc.

Does that also mean you couldn't send watches to Hamilton for servicing? Or is it purely if there was an issue with the watch. How long would a Hamilton manufacturer warranty be?

Official warranty is two years 🏻. I think you would still be able to send in for a service but yup, if you bought one from a grey marker dealer and it needed repair, they wouldn’t honour the warranty so would most likely refuse to repair, if that makes sense 🏻. I bought a Hamilton from Amazon once and it came with 2 years warranty but again, that was provided by Amazon themselves- so they would probably replace or send it to an independent watch repair company.

I’ve nothing against grey market dealers because there are some bargains to be had but I’d be reluctant to if I was spending big money one 🏻

The sheer amount of emojis in this post makes it read like sarcasm.

What? a smile and a thumbs up? Hmmm...No sarcasm at all. I own three Hamilton watches and have experience with warranties. Just trying to be helpful to someone whom asked me a question. You comment makes you look like you’re trolling, so I guess we’re even 😁 🏻
