This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

A nice swiss made wind-up watch. Could be £207 with the 10% off code for signing up to Ernest Jones' newsletter. I paid £330 for this a week ago waaaaa!! This watch is well respected by the horology community as an affordable way to start a watch collection. Normally retails for £350ish. This is defo a good deal - I doubt you can find a new non-quartz swiss made watch for this price anywhere.

Its a good idea to get it delivered to your local store so you can inspect it and make sure the warranty card is stamped. FYI mine took a week to arrive. HAPPY SHOPPING
Good deal. Heat.

How long does one full wind last?
Definitely don’t need this but so tempting
Very similar to Seiko Alpinist - hot

Shame the H69439363 isn't on offer
Looks similar style to some Lorus watches that can be had for about £30, granted they're probably not as good quality but similar style if you're just going for the look.
Good one, I have the black dial. The only complain I read it's not water resistant at all and can be damaged by rain
Nice, with newsletter code and work scheme discount I picked this up for sub £200. Thanks OP.
Hot!

This is indeed a very well respected watch by the collector community.
Purchased on Thursday turned up Saturday. Also got 10% of with newsletter. £207 in total.
Not disappointed at all Would have paid full price

What’s the difference

What’s the difference

Main difference is the one listed here is a manual wind, the other is an automatic.

The movement. Both Mechanical but power reserve 80hr vs this 42hr

Wow, such a cool story, ring someone who cares.

Similar as in green ?
Good price for what it is I suppose, but I don't really see the appeal of a hand winding-only watch. I'd probably sooner buy a Seiko auto field watch that wasn't hand winding, and buy a watch winder, for lots less money.
Absolute bargain 🏻
Has anyone here bought this watch on this deal? Received mine today and I think the watch could be used. Strap seems a little distressed. Can anyone confirm if theirs came with plastic to protect the dial? Mine didn’t. No tag on a string either which I got with my last Hamilton watch.

It seems like you have received either a display watch or a return. When I purchased this very same watch over a year ago it had the string tags attached and the dial plastic film. Inspect the watch carefully and, if there are no marks, either push to get some money back or if you are not comfortable with that just send it back. Sneaky that they have done that but I had a similar situation with Goldsmith's and a Casio Edifice some years back, I kept the watch and managed to get £40 back.

Ernest jones don't keep stock of watches so there's a high chance it's been pulled from a window display in a local shop as that is their stock.
OK price but the face misses out on so much potential for detail.

Received mine yesterday and exactly the same. Very very happy with the watch but I shall be sending EJ a strongly worded email about not saying the watch was ex display

I decided to return mine to my local store today. Wasn’t happy with the strap looking used and the fact they’re sending used items out as new. Will never buy anything from Ernest Jones again!

They have offered me £20 back, did you push for more in your case? In every other aspect I am completely happy with the watch. Looks even better in person. It’s more a green grey dial than olive green
Yes I did have to push for more, they originally offered £25 perhaps it was also because there were no shops near me I could take it back to so it would be a good would have cost them to courier it back. Best of luck!
