They've got a full and rich history associated with them, and well worth a read. Of note - they invented the first 'electric' watch in 1957. Pre-quartz electromechanical. Also, Elvis used to wear Hamilton watches. Also, a reissue of those watches feature in the MIB movies. There's a quick digest for you.
