Found 23rd Jan 2015
this was on special deals last week at £17.99 now I noticed in the Bedford branch they were reduced to £9.99 so gonna take mine back and buy another for the cheaper price, and there were about 100 in stock.

Thanks for your deal. I've added the price and merchant to your title for you

These we're reduced in Atherstone on Wednesday too if that helps anyone. Had quite a few left.

£4.99 in Lichfield this morning.

r they good for cleaning car windows?

I had one before and found it to be useless. Really want a steam cleaner but all the reviews seem poor. The "X5" is slated on Amazon.

Can anyone recommend a quality one for general purpose home cleaning?

not steamy enough for me returned for refund

Totty, I mean hotty

Loads in Rotherham Eastwood store today.

Had some in Fishponds branch today, walked on by as I've had a cheap one before and it wasn't much good

most of these steamers are waste of time n money.

Ive had one for a year and use it regularly for tiles, glass shower screen etc. You can't expect them to do all the work but a wipe with a cloth afterwards usually covers it. I've bought several at this price for friends and family even when there was new stock in the same store at full price

Would this be useful for windows, I get a lot of dirt on mine and they are a pain to do.

I do my conservatory with mine. Just slowly clean with the squeegee attachment and wipe down with a jay cloth. Works great.

Any good for cleaning grout in the bathroom? I've seen a more expensive one work wonders but I'm a little dubious about purchasing this one.

The X5 is a "Sold on TV" product, not by a reputable manufacturer.

This Karcher one seems to have good reviews on Amazon: amazon.co.uk/K%C…JUQ

It's cheap for a reason, find it cheaper anywhere else?

Still £17.99 in all the stores near me.

still some left in Bedford branch as I was there today

I've found this ineffective against dirty grouting and will probably return it. What's far better, and cheaper, is a mixture of a couple of tablespoons of bicarb of soda, a shot of white vinegar and a shot of bleach. Apply it with an old toothbrush and leave it for a couple of hours or overnight.
