No link?

And who told you 250g coffee is "worth" £6.95 - usual price is nearer four quid.

Sorry, OP, this looks pretty useless so far!

(and yes, I did search the website - their search is naff, too!)

Added the link but doesn't want to work: pactcoffee.com/bbc…ood

That's the price they state on their website...

Link fixed, thanks for sharing Simona

Quadrille, you know nothing about coffee. Tesco value may cost a quid for 250g, but decent coffee costs mich more, even when raw, unroasted.

Hmmm... it still doesn't want to work. Maybe need to go through bbcgoodfood website?

Taken from FAQ:
Will I regret signing up to a subscription?
Nope, we’re lovely. Also you can cancel any time, change your delivery frequency, skip a bag, order extra bags and even take a coffee break if you’re going away or feel like a month off the caffeine. If you have any concerns, however, just give us a ring on 0207 231 2047 and we’ll have a chat.

You can also use code 'bbc250' too.

Cool site and coffee sounds good. How do you cancel?

From their website payment info...

We ask for payment details so that once you’ve tried our coffee, it’s as easy as possible for you to reorder from us. However by doing so you’re not committing to buy anything in the future, and if you don’t feel our coffee is good value after the free bag, you can tell us not to send you any more, either by clicking the ‘cancel’ button or via email or phone. Once your account is cancelled, your details are removed and you will not receive any more coffee and obviously no charges will ever be applied to your account.

very easy to find cancel button on my account page

Refreshingly easy to navigate, friendly website. Thanks for the offer, I may keep it running for a while if the first bag is out of the extraordinary

Mine arrived today - its extremely high quality. I would probably buy a 1kg bag for 15quid ish if they produced one, but they seem to only do regular deliveries which makes it expensive.

Initially i thought the subscription idea was good, but the difference between 7 day roasted coffee and 1 month (i.e. a 1kg open bag) just doesn't just double the price. I wish the company well but cancelled my account today.

Rave coffee have equally good coffee but at much cheaper price.

Received mine, too. Delicious, the best coffee I've ever made. Not bitter at all, even at the high concentration I normally use. It is expensive, but 'd like to try a couple of different types and maybe have them sent fortnightly to monthly, to experience what I reckon will be more great coffee, whilst not spending a hideous amount. Cheers, Pact!

May check out Rave coffee, too - thanks for the recommendation smala.

Thanks for posting. Very good price for 250g of beans. If quality is good, I may keep up the subscription.

Just had my first cup of the "La Conception" blend they sent - I think it's dreadful, tastes of a hint of honey with spaghetti bolognese aftertaste (rather than the proposed Notes of Chocolate, honey and cranberries).

It may be that my taste buds aren't as refined as other folks, or it's just not the sort of taste I like, or perhaps the bag I got is tainted.

I definitely wouldn't take a chance on another £6.95 mail order bag - I'd rather get something locally where I can try it first, or stick to the higher end stuff available from Supermarkets.

By comparison I treat myself to a 500g bag of beans a couple of times a year mail order from my favorite Coffee shop in Swansea - this costs a bit more at around £9 inc p&p, but they are always good, whichever blend I choose. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone - kardomahcoffeeshop.co.uk/buy…tml

Update: PACT sent me a replacement bag of La Conception (albeit they said it would be a different flavour) and it was much, much better. The first pack must've been tainted in some way - although I'm still not convinced it's worth £6.95 for a relatively small bag.

Same offer was in the Daily Mail dailymail.co.uk/hom…tml
I ordered Monday and turned up Tuesday then cancelled, very nice I'm drinking some now!

Great deal OP, let's hope the coffee is good. Cheers
