Please consider others and don’t stockpile - we all need to work together to ensure everyone gets what they need. If possible, perhaps offer to help older neighbours, family or friends by sourcing items for them.

If you're not outside long just use soap like a sane person. Sanitiser is only really for if you're stuck without.

Sanitizer can kill the virus soap and water doesn't tho.

You go to the supermarket, handle money etc. and potentially get contaminated. You then get in your car touch the door handles, steering wheel, gear knob etc. transferring the contamination to the car. You get home wash your hands and you’re uncontaminated. You then get back in your car and rub you’re eyes whilst driving -woops! Alternatively use some hand sanitizer.

It doesent kill it, but it washes it off your hands and down the drain (if you wash your hands properly).

The only time to use hand sanitizer is when you don't have the option of soap and water.

What kind of muppet is using cash at the moment?? Deserve all you get... Use your contactless card like everyone else.

It’s also a virus, not a bacteria. I’d doesn’t stay alive on surfaces like you seem to think. Maybe you need to try reading up on a bit of science, instead of just guessing.

Till operators have to take cash, not necessarily yours, and Then handle your products you purchase. The muppets are the ones that don’t use bacterial hand cleanser but wait till they get home and wash their hands. And yes does stay active on surfaces for several hours depending on what it is, with copper giving it the shortest life span even though it’s not actually living in the true sense of the word. Why the need to try and convince people not to use hand sanatizer beggars belief

I didn’t. I questioned why anyone needs 11 litres of hand sanitiser. It’s mental. Especially when soap works better.

Anyone still handing over actual cash money instead of contactless are the real problem with what you’re describing. Selfish ar**h**es.
