games are getting dear now for pc but also xbox etc but if you getting digital download should be half the price for a disc game

mungler1

Ditto. The PC Version is so so expensive!

I don't think loot boxes are the problem, it's just the cars are just too hard to get as the credits earned are so low, even with VIP. I have 18 cars sitting in my rewards pot at the moment which I can't afford! Also still a lot of bugs at the moment which I haven't found hardly at all in GT Sport. GT Sport needs more tracks for me though.

t4v

No lootboxes in GT... yet

I have this watch and find it more reliable than the Fenix 5 (always follow the rule - never buy a new Garmin within 6 months of release!) but didn't pay anything near this price. I expected it to be lower. The 935 is ok but feels a bit plastic - prefer the Fenix body for durability.

jhsmith87

Personally I am waiting for the Forerunner 935 to get discounted. Lighter, slimmer & all the newest features.

DaChinski

Great watch and waaaay better value than the 5x models - but you can get this cheaper e.g. Amazon or GoOutdoors price match + 10%

In that case I would recommend buying a PC you are happy with even second hand for if you only need basic processing capability. Then buy yourself an SSD separately. As long as the the PC has a Windows 10 licence tied to the motherboard, just disconnect mechanical hard drive and replace with SSD and connect the HDD as a secondary drive. Grab an 8GB+ memory stick and use the windows tool to build you a bootable image and reinstall windows yourself. This method will also avoid any bloatware that comes with a branded prebuilt system.

joehart2

Thanks for replying no more than web browse, basic video editing, general office but SSD is essential, I cant go back to a HDD

They do get an average of two days before a charge, has been this way since Watch OS 3.1 I don't get the issue with the charging element, most people with a smart phone already charge their phone every night, is it really so hard plugging in the Watch at the same time? It takes just over an hour to hit 80% charge, so if you want to wear at night to track your sleep pattern etc just plug it in in the morning whilst having a shower and breakfast or at night whilst watching TV.

afrocleland

Coque.

plewis00

Gonna add fuel to the fire here but I've concluded (from extensive testing and wearing stuff on my wrist!), I believe the best 'fitness' smart watch combined (because if you're not into fitness it's a bit pointless) is the Garmin Fenix 3, it has a proper GPS, it will last 2-4 weeks in watch mode, it does smart notifications, can run apps (but useful ones) and looks like a half decent watch with that round face and transflective display. The Apple Watch is good for a small niche of people, and the tech is clever but I just got so fed up of charging it daily and then leaving the charger somewhere once which basically disabled it until I could get it back.

LittleBunny

Is this fitbit waterproof? I know the flex 2 is.

truebrit155

Fitbit deals with any issues after purchase and their customer service is fantastic, the 'bubbling' is a common and well known problem which occurs after about 6months (I use mine everyday), as said previously an email to customer service and they immediately dispatch you a replacement, I am on my 3rd but I still highly recommend them and likewise I'll just keep getting a new 1 every 6/7 months.

sicklysweet

Careful with the smaller size. It's really small! I'm a slim size 8/10 female and went for the large one. It's a good product but the novelty has worn off now and I don't use it properly any more.

there is nothing :\ If you want proper accuracy and not a gimmick that's not very precise then stick with chest strap :)

hyenadog

hi I do follow dc rainmaker quite regularly and still not seen anything remotely comparable (accuracy stability) to a decent ant+ chests trap.. my ageing well used Garmin 410 is due for replacement and would like to get rid of the strap but haven't seen anything optical that's much good in comparison

Mikey_b

Try DC Rainmaker. He's very thorough on his reviews, and usually has comparison charts of various devices from the same run

hyenadog

I've not tried any optical (wrist based) hrm that's anywhere near as accurate or stable as the Garmin or polar ant straps ... is there any decent comparison online showing otherwise?

Mikey_b

Yes, from the wrist, but also the option to use the (slightly) more accurate band with advanced running metrics

Well funnily enough i just got an email through telling me its back in stock........... at £435! http://www.handtec.co.uk/garmin-fenix-3-sapphire-hr.html

phil12100

Complete opposite to my experience. I ordered early on the Friday morning and it was delivered on the Saturday around lunch time. I wouldn't have any hesitation to order from them again!

Omsking

I agree is a really great price. So much so that i bought one last week. I ordered it at about 4:15pm on a thursday. I noticed that the cut off time for next day delivery was at 4. I rang them up and they said they would try and get it out that day. 15 mins later i get a phone call saying its made it out that day and is on its way. I had email confirmation saying this even a tracking number. Then 20 mins later i get a phone call saying ohhh sorry the box has scratches and so does the watch as we open up every item before we send it out to check its ok. So we cant send you it and your order been cancled. To be fair to them, then refunded my money straight away. It was via PayPal i paid, i do wonder how quick they would of refunded my money if i paid via debit card. But from the phone call it was clear that it was **** and they never had any fenix 3's in stock at all. Just like a lot of other places that sell these cheep that say they are in stock, you order it, then all of a sudden its gonna be 12-24 days. Ive not had any other dealings with Handtec before, but my first time with them didnt go as planned. It now says on there website, watches are due in on the 6th. If you order one, at least use PayPal so its easier to put a claim in if it goes wrong. Hope this helps someone.

I'm one of those iOS people I'm afraid. I've just paid £439 in Game for an iPhone 6 Plus - a 16 month old phone - because the apps, services, software support and updates, as well as integration with my MacBook, add value to it beyond mere specifications. I do like Android but always feel like I'm fighting a losing battle to keep up with constant new hardware, and gradually every member of my family seems to be getting iPhones too! I also value wifi calling on EE too, and the only SIM free phone that supports it is the iPhone for some annoying reason.

Masteryates

If you are an early adopter, yes you can get robbed. On the other hand, wait a few months and get £200 off and a flagship for only £300. What's not to like? On the other side of the fence, those iOS people are still having to pay £600 retail even 6 months after release, (and that's only for the 16GB version without expandable storage!)

Andybro

I'm the same with Sony. releasing a flagship phone emery 6 months means my 2 year old. Z1 is not worth a lot.

misterleoni

Been available at Clove for a little while too. Couple of quid more but I'd rather deal with them than Handtec. Wouldn't personally buy an LG for more than £300 again - always feel a bit robbed a couple of months later when they have dropped by £200!
