only if your sick enough to buy it for your kids in the first place!

top item IMO, love it!

I actually got this last year for £8 as a replacement for my brother's broken bathroom pull light. He's blind and managed to smash the ceramic pull light handle against the tiled wall. With this one its alot safer so it just bounces back of the tiles. He loves the design.

I think you do have to have a (good/sick) sense of humour for it, when he has guests over they love it too. Only person not liked it so far was my mum, dad liked it too and was thinking of changing the ones at home just to annoy mum.

Now that I found it cheaper getting another one to replace his downstair loo pull light.

Only thing I was disapointed with was that its not glow in the dark.

Not really an idea for the dragons den, more the dragons cot as only an infant would want one.

Avast threw up a virus warning about that site for me.....

Can't believe how serious some people are on this site!

Don't worry about the kids being offended, just pick them up from school, take them to McD's for tea and then back home for a few hours on GTA, then pull the dead hanging man when they go to brush their teeth.

Hot from me.

jamie60509;5068219

No, he was being entirely serious in suggesting that light-switch accessories are to blame for a spate of youth suicides.

What do you think?

I knew that, I just asked if he thought making fun of that situation was funny

I just hope he never has to go through the horror of cutting someone down after they have done this - it's not at all funny then

Just curious. Why do people think it is sick to have this, but are happy enough to wear a crucifixion around their neck?

Naff is a better word. One for the furry dice brigade boy racers of chavton. Who like to holiday in benidorm, drink pints and smoke tabs.

I don't think anyone is arguing that youth suicide - any suicide, in fact - is funny.

I've lost a member of my immediate family to suicide, but it doesn't stop me from being able to talk about it or accept other people making jokes or throwaway comments about suicide without getting offended.

I'll admit that I didn't find the original comment particularly funny, but nobody should be getting desperately upset or offended by such a throwaway remark.

I use to live there and it's the most depressing place I've ever lived or visited so far....it's like living on the hell mouth (Buffy reference)....and for the life of me I could not find one decent place to eat out at....the best option was actually McDonalds. >_

Well it's a great price compared to everywhere else but it seems people are very politically correct here and lack an average sense of humour. And as for people worrying about kids being influenced by this product....not everyone has kids and there are those of us who bother teaching their kids that suicide is wrong. >_>

i didnt know there was a chavometer in millilitres.
what about a half pint, what does that make you?
your so wise, please tell me more

My sense of humour is great and I laugh/smile about most things, but this is just not funny and don't see what makes it so. It's a poor and distasteful product. That's why I voted cold anyway.

totaly agree makes a mockery of a serious problem

No; armchair psychology on here makes a mockery of a serious problem.

When it comes to dealing with society's suicide problem (especially in examples like Bridgend), I think cord-pulls feature pretty low down the list of 'things to worry about'.

Does a game of hangman also make a mockery of a serious problem?
