or save your money by putting out a jam jar with a spot left in the bottom, add a bit of water, voila. My granny always used that at the kitchen windowsill and it worked perfectly, no bug traps required

The hole is actually 10p sized...
The wasps just have great difficulty navigating back out.
These things do work very well - I have an orchard and keep Bees so I hang about 20 of them in and around the place and they fill up in no time.
